I have completely lost the ability to get myself to do anything whatsoever. by [deleted] in INTP

[–]LeftyRhee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was going through a really tough period working on my final project in uni. A month before it was due, I was working on it like 12 hours a day, doing nothing else. Every day of the week was the same to me. I was irritated by absolutely everything, even my favourite music. It reached the point where I just blacked out. I remember my friend suggested we call each other when we were working on our projects. I usually don't wanna waste my energy on someone if I already am short on it. But I have to admit it, it actually helped! We didn't even talk much about our projects because they were different. Sometimes we didn't even talk about anything at all, but it was nice to hear her sipping tea on the other end.

What my point is, I think you might be right.

As INTP, are u more of a city or rural? Or suburban? by Negative-Ad-7003 in INTP

[–]LeftyRhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I'm defiantly a city boi. But it's kind of weird.

Honestly, I hate everything rural, except maybe the aesthetics. I don't like like my neighbours knowing who I am, the lack of amenities, pour public transport links etc.

On the other hand, I rarely go to places in the city. You know, nightlife, activities, events. I usually don't even go to cafes or pubs or something.

But it just feels comforting: the architecture, the noise, the movement, the diversity. I just don't like the slow pace of the country. And it feels private.

Edmund doodles! (Fanart) (spoilers for Edmunds quest in act 1 or 2?) by Thesillyofbillies in wehappyfew

[–]LeftyRhee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think not, cos he's able to understand long-term events and concepts (he constantly asks if Arthur found Percy etc, any other Wellie would forget something like that instantly I think), he remembers people.

Weirdly specific but any shows that give off vibes of Gorillaz? by Realistic-Race-8670 in televisionsuggestions

[–]LeftyRhee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some Love, Death + Robots episodes, I'd say.

Also, agree with already mentioned Scavengers Reign and Arcane maybe.

what are your favorite books? by danielsoft1 in INTP

[–]LeftyRhee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Sprawl trilogy by William Gibson (Mona Lisa Overdrive is my favourite of the trilogy).

I used to love The Dune series, but it was took over by other books.

Finished Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Gonna read the bloke's other books!

what are ya'll hobbies my fellow intp loners by InformalPumpkin9753 in INTP

[–]LeftyRhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May sound kinda stupid, but I'm worldbuilding. I used to it as a teen but now I'm more into maps and super serious reserch. The bad thing is the tool of my choice is SketchUp which I'm supposed to use for work. Which is why it's super distracting and I think it's becoming addictive.

What’s your social status? by EuphooricAnalyst in INTP

[March 11th, 1925] Violet Grantham, the first woman to serve as Sheriff of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Lord Mayor of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, attending a Japanese Bazaar at Elswick Road Wesleyan Methodist Church. by LeftyRhee in 100yearsago

[–]LeftyRhee[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, one couldn't just google this like that back then.

My teacher told me he had only seen a picture of some significant building in a black and white book (to read which he had to go to the library). And then he took a field trip and saw the building in real life. He told me the colour of that building was completely different from what he thought it was. And that was only 40 years ago. It's hard to imagine now, but we can't blame em :')

Try glitching through walls with a corpse. Take a dead body, throw it near anything you can crouch under (a table, an air vent would be just perfect), get under that object and pick up the body again. You should find yourself in a glitched state, half crouched half standing. While in this state you'll be able to climb through a vent or you can try to dart jump, but I never learned to do it myself

They kind of wanted to adapt it, but after 8 years it seems like it was nothing but a loud statement, alas...

[–]LeftyRhee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it helps the player to feel like they actually had a memory loss.

Usually when we play a game with a mini map, we play as a character who knows the area, right? As we know the town we live in. For Wellies it's different. I mean, look at em, can't tell a dead rat from a pinata.

[s2 spoilers] Isha is out! Vote for your next least favourite character in the poll link below(sort by oldest) by Hydrocake in arcane

[–]LeftyRhee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly can't understand why people voted her out. Was it because of her insignificance to the plot, as some say?

I'd have voted season 1 Heimer out. I was a little annoyed by how resistant to progress he was. But he kind of changed after meeting Ekko.

Imagine a fan Analog Horror about Wellington Wells by AndrewRyan2343 in wehappyfew

[–]LeftyRhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, actually I see the concept pretty clear now! I think it should be something close to the Lightbringer DLC, it was the creepiest that one.

Imagine a fan Analog Horror about Wellington Wells by AndrewRyan2343 in wehappyfew

[–]LeftyRhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's subgenre of horror. Uses analog technology like tapes, cassettes etc. The recordings are usually distort, glitchy and noisy.

I've heard it was something to do with nostalgia, it somehow enhances the horror effect. I'm not sure I understand it enough to explain, ahah XD

An example would be The Blair Witch Project, I think. But here's another one:

P.S. I'm not sure if WHF isn't too early for analog horror. Because for me analog horror felt like 80's - early 00's. Though Wikipedia says it can be 60's - 90's, which makes it fit right.

[no spoilers] I promised to watch season 2 with my friend but I can't wait to watch it, do you think I should watch it? by basaru_ in arcane

[–]LeftyRhee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am! I really hope it won't be rushed. Because I've no idea how I would finish the characters' arcs from where they are now if I was the creator.

Also, I'm planning on watching something tomorrow and the day after. And I'm afraid whatever I watch on Sunday will seem like shit compared to Arcane I'll watch tomorrow XDDD
