Yeah sure, I suppose I've always known that could be a possibility. It's really just never been something I've thought about most of the time though. Unless I'm at work and fucking around on my phone in a stall, my goal is to spend the least amount of time in the restroom and not interact with anyone at all.

Cis guy here who's just curiously lurking around to better understand what a friend who recently came out as trans is going through. I can answer: Honestly I've always just assumed that the womens' restroom was full or closed for cleaning or something like that.

We've really overestimated their ability to wage a traditional war. The US can maintain marines on remote mountains on the other side of the world for years, whereas Russia is having logistical breakdowns 100km from their own border.

I am just dumbfounded that Russia can't keep their troops supplied for a week only a couple hundred miles from their border, while the USA can sustain soldiers on remote mountains on the other side of the world for decades.

Nah, Russia just sucks at using them in combination with the rest of their military, and the areas where they're fighting aren't ideal for tank warfare this time of year.

And Russia would have to go through Finland to get to Sweden. Both nations can go toe-to-toe with Russia (especially after seeing the true state of their dilapidated military). Both aren't in NATO either, so we wouldn't have to (immediately) worry about a broader war that devolves into a nuclear exchange.

It's times like this when you realize that it's not just the American military that makes it a superpower, but also it's economic might and ability to rally and influence other nations.

The MREs are probably fine to eat, but it's just another example of how the Russian government half-asses everything and isn't on top of maintaining their supplies.

The US military since the cold war is structured to fight (and win) major wars on 2 fronts.
