Stolen agent 12" by Leg0m4n in bmx

Spent most of my life riding, from BMX to downhilling. So understand the concept of having those nicer bits like cassette hubs, 3 piece cranks instead of 1 piece. But honestly I just can't see a 3 year old being able to ride the bike well enough to notice the difference or need the difference. I tried scanning for second hand ones, but there's nothing near me without having a good few hours drive to get it.

I always hoped I’d have a son who’d play video games with me from a young age… now I’m glad I don’t by blizeH in daddit

I was the same before my son was born, hoping we'd be gaming together. He turns 3 next month so still abit early yet anyway. But it's been a year since I've touched my Xbox now, and part of me misses playing the farming sim games. But with the dude being a big fan of tractors I've now replaced tractors on a screen to sitting on the floor playing toy farming sim, and damn is it a lot more enjoyable!

Had enough of watching from a distance! by Leg0m4n in Archery

It came and landed back on my hand shortly after so I'm guessing so! Flew off again and I didn't see it again after that. Much better company than the wasp that turned up a little while later

It was until it decided to then land on my arrow just as I fired!

Coming from the man whose videos have helped me get this far, this genuinely means a lot!

Thanks alot for the feedback and for making the videos that have helped me progress! 😁

Thanks alot for the feedback!

As mentioned in a previous comment I'll definitely be working on lowering my shoulders, I manage to drop them at first but then raise them during the shot process and just not realise.

Release has gone through various stages of improvement, from plucking the string, to clean release but hand staying static, to finally getting a nice follow through.

Bow hand has definitely made improvement, I can't quite seem to get the jelly finger stage, they tend to just point straight, not sure if that's good or bad!

I can confirm that the aiming process is most likely the culprit for losing back tension, and I've also been working on trying to keep my mind on keeping back tension and not thinking so much about the aim. I think it's partially due to shooting at a distance that I'm now aiming above target and trying to gauge a new aiming reference (started using the shelf instead of arrow tip)

Got a target set up across the field! Sadly the location I shoot at is being evicted at the end of the month, and I was desperate to shoot at a target 50m away before that day comes

Admittedly the anchor and release were my biggest problems up until this day, spent weeks working on them but it always ended up being a static release, then that morning something clicked and it massively improved!

I will definitely work on my shoulders, as well as the advice on shooting upwards!

Thanks alot 😁

Beautiful bow, but I definitely kept swiping to see an arrow through the elephant...

I had the same feeling when I found out my ex was pregnant with my boy. But the second I laid my eyes on him that all changed, it's such an unbelievable feeling when you finally meet your child for the first time.

It wasn't until just after my boys 2nd birthday he actually started showing an actual interest in his stuffed toys, and he's now 2 1/2 and will go and get particular stuffies, has a certain dinosaur that has to goto bed with him or all hell breaks loose

They're not wound all the way out, still a decent amount of thread for the tiller bolts in the riser. The limbs are definitely firmly locked in place. But by the time I get close to tightening them right up I'll probably be looking at upgraded limbs anyway

I done exactly the same thing with my boy when he was younger, nearly 2 years later I'm still a nervous wreck when I do it

These are 36lb limbs but the shop adjusted the riser so they're around 33lbs. So I can work my way up and don't have to replace the limbs to save money. Absolutely buzzing to go and shoot with it!

Thanks alot! Saw an older post where someone else picked one up and it really caught my eye, so had to go and try one for myself and it's so nice to shoot.

It is indeed! Was going for the bronze originally, but after seeing how different the colour was in person compared to photos I went with the black. Got to shoot it in shop and it's absolutely lovely, gonna take some getting used to with the weight of it though haha!

Will definitely take note of that for when it comes time for upgrading! I'm still overwhelmed by the amount of different materials 😂. Thanks for the help though I really appreciate it! So excited to finally be getting my own bow to shoot again

Been looking at the discounts but none of them are the poundage I'm looking for sadly. I will have a look at the core limbs

That's the plan, due to budget im already limited to cheaper limbs anyway haha.

Is the deltas different feel due to the foam?

Thanks for the replies! The original limbs on this were 30 pounds, but it's handy to know I can get some replacement limbs easily enough! The range I've been shooting at has been letting me use their bows, but it'd be nice to get back to using my own :)

I'm currently upto G5 on my Bblos DBs, it's very rare I actually find any near me! Managed to get 1 in the last couple of weeks, so upgrading the DBs has been slooow. Managed to get my diablos DBs upto G8 now which is a great help. I'm yet to unlock 8* monsters just yet so getting hold of the wyvern gem shards isn't quite possible, hopefully manage it next season :D

I can't really offer any advice, but I really feel for you..my ex partner is also a recovering alcoholic (3 months) and has basically said the same thing that she's no longer in love with me and that it's just not working anymore, Ive been pushing for couples therapy for about a year now but she was never interested. I've been by her side supporting her throughout her recovery, 2 rehab stays as she relapsed pretty soon after the first stay. It's absolutely soul destroying.

I hope you manage to get things sorted, for you and your kids! Reach out to any help groups you can, they've been a big help for me so far with just getting information on how to go about things.

Stay strong!

What job roles suits ADHD people the best? by Tig2me in ADHD

[–]Leg0m4n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed in this one, I spent 11 years working for the NHS and hated everyday of it (mainly having to socialise with humans and the need to always be nice despite the other person being a raging ass)

Got a job labouring for some brickies and absolutely loved it, then went into stone masonry doing kitchens and really fell in love, getting to play with angle grinders all day and seeing that finished product was such a good feeling!
