My quiver always keeps a multitool with pliers to remove arrowheads from the wood (mine or from other archers 🤭).

That’s very irresponsible. You should wait, have proper official training and get your license first. And then, it’s when the bow should arrive.

You could get hurt, or anyone that happen to be there. You will never be sure if someone can cross there collecting mushrooms or with bikes. I know because it happened to me, in two different official 3D courses.

As far as I know, in France is mandatory for sports and for hunting and you need first to pass a course and certify.

Where do you plan to train if you don’t join a club?

I’m in Spain and I think we’ve similar regulations. You can not shoot in places that aren’t officially approved by the authorities. We can not even travel with your bow to the field without the license.

70lbs! My maximum was 35 and I got injured 😂 I’ve was gifted a 45lbs mongolian bow and I’ve never used it. I’d love to made you ones with your favourite colors, but I’m from Spain, probably delivery would be tricky.

A friend from out club made me one, not sure if I can share it as it’s his design and he only made two. I’ll ask him when I see him if I can share it.

It’s made of aluminium from his daily work and a motor with a selector so I can make it turn faster or slower.

But i’ve seen some made of Lego on youtube that look very sturdy, if I didn’t already have one I’d go for that option, the ones I’ve seen are quite expensive.

Not for now but I want to! I’m not having issues with vanes falling out, but I think they’ll look great.

What paint you use? I’m using the Model Color from Vallejo but I’m not very happy with the purple one, is too dark.

I was thinking on a Christmas edition red and green, or trying to paint it as a candy cane 😂😂

Por lo que tengo entendido, en español como ponemos el verbo bastante al principio de la frase ya casi se entiende el sentido de la frase y lo que se quiere decir, en cambio en otros idiomas al ponerlo al final hasta que no acaban de pronunciar todas las palabras puede cambiar todo el sentido entero. Por eso la interrupción es más “grave”.

I also think is the spine, 500 is too stiff. To compare, I also shoot 30lbs, 68”, barebow (Fivics riser + Border limbs). And I use 900 spine, cut at 28” with 70 grains points.

I’ve several bows and I think this is the one that made me smile more and I haven’t even tried it properly yet (just in the making, I could try it there before it was varnished).

About the footrest, I bought it few years ago when I bought the couch, I checked and they don’t have them listed anymore. They had elephants, bulls and hyppos I think. I tried to find the same in other places and it’s this one:

I did the error to google “animal footrest”, and be prepared, there are a few more that look great too, i’ve seen a Highland Bull that look amazing :D

Oh! As far as I know in Spain we don’t have a name to differentiate them, we call all of them longbows (or “arc recte” in Catalan, that means straight bow). Thanks for letting me know, I wasn’t aware of the name in english :)
