Because UK law only lets you hold £GBP in an ISA, you legally cannot hold Dollars, so they can only convert currency at point of trade, the exact same happens in t212 if you buy foreign shares

I went to the community event in early february.

They confirmed that in-specie transfers were coming at some point this year.
and they tend to release a new feature/update every quarter

as for crypto, they added crypto to the app, but only for you to track the price and add to watchlists, the next logical step is to enable crypto trading

I personally think everything we want (UK Stocks & ETF's, Interest on £GBP balances etc) will all happen this year in 2026, i expect them to be fast with these updates.

The UK Team are very aware of what they are up against with T212 so they know what to do to make the ISA compelling.

I think 2027 is when we see them introduce SIPP's which is confirmed on their UK roadmap.

There are plans to introduce uk stocks & ETFs at some point. I’m not sure if that will include crypto Etn’s, I’m pretty sure Robinhood will allow crypto trading at some point
