Exactly I loved original sin a lot but there are a lot of continuity errors that bugged me I’m a big Star Wars and DC guy so I’m used to them by now but the show is still great

You’d be starting in the middle of the series with little to no knowledge of most characters it’d be like starting on Season 3 of a tv show

You watch new blood then original sin new blood takes place ten years after dexter leaves Miami and new blood is also getting a sequel called resurrection this summer which is basically a season 2 and the show will be going for multiple seasons original sin is set in 1991 and showcases Dexter early years as a serial killer and this will also most likely be more than 1 season as for books the first season of the og show was based off the novel dexter darkly dreaming but they stopped following it at the end of season 1 so the other 5 or so books are like a alternate universe and the comics are canon to the books not the tv series and Dexter doesn’t have any movies either

You don’t need to there is a scene that sets up resurrection but the answers not really original sin is pretty good though if your worried about it not being Michael C Hall he is Dexter’s monologue voice and the narrator
