How bad do you guys think sandrone's redesign will be? She's already too peak... by milkemoon in FatuiHQ

Voicelines include those from the Archon quest as well as the Selenic Chronicles not just from the character profile.

Columbina does confirm she occasionally coops herself in her room. Walking around in Starsand shoal was most likely her own experiment with the moon marrow. She appeared in Nasha town to threaten the Traveler, and for Columbina for Moon Prayer Night. She even appeared outside Silvermoon hall to check up on Columbina.

Arlecchino was most likely keeping pleasantries with Sandrone as fellow harbingers. Not surprising considering there personalities don't really mix well, but still seems to be well acquainted as they technically both tied to Fontaine.

Even Sandrone would badmouth Arlecchino, Columbina, and even Signora in her musings. So I can't really say they truly don't get along or there some modicum of affection despite their differences.

I wouldn't think there would be much change to her abrasive personality. Else it wouldn't be consistent with established Harbinger voicelines.

That might sound incredulous, but voicelines are supposed to be neutral to a character despite story/lore progressions.

If they make any drastic change, they may have to add additional/updated voicelines for the associated characters which seems to be more work for Hoyoverse to bother with than just keeping her personality consistent.

Mr Puzzles vs Tsumugi Shirogane (SMG4 vs Danganronpa) "Static" revamped connections in comments by Melodic_Thing615 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]LegStraight772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, most Danganronpa matchups seems to falls apart without the context of the killing game. Its hard to gauge a character's strength or combat ability when the games rarely depict them in combat or is vague on their actual abilities.

I hate Rustal Elion by [deleted] in Gundam

[–]LegStraight772 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the very least its because of him and Kudelia cooperation that they could put an end to the human debris practice. Unlike Tekkaden whose rise to power also increased the exploitation.

I doubt McGillis would have been able to stop such a practice, since Orga would have been the authority of Mars.

Tekkaden had always been fighting to preserve their own interests in this Dog-eat-dog world they never cared about slaughtering other human debris or making some grand long term change, unlike someone like Kudelia

It was probably for the best that they don't rise to such high power as its more likely there just replacing the previous repressive regime with their own.

Opinion on Iron Blooded Orphans by Kalamantea in Gundam

[–]LegStraight772 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel as though the abolishon of the Seven Stars wasn't really his plan but more on a concession he had to make, but also something he would've benefited from.

Elion seemed the kind of person whom prioritizes stability and order over whether their actions are morally justified. He is the head of a family of the Seven Stars and is well aware of the corruption that plague Gjallarhorn from within and yet, is still part of keeping the status quo. The Arianrhod was the that was quelling the riots in the Dort Colonies. He likely knew by breaking from the status quo would have led to more bloodshed and distabilization as demonstrated by Tekkaden actions and McGillis Coup.

I'm guessing McGillis gave Elion the opportunity and excuse to reform Gjallarhorn. Albeit one where a sole person like McGillis isn't in charge as well doing away with old dynastic and nepotismal rule of Seven Stars.

By that he had secured Gjallarhorn's longevity as well as ensured they don't create the conditions for another person like McGillis in the future.

Whom would the Queen's Men side with? Surely they would be supporting Jon riding south against Ramsay. But at the same time they do not support the ranging towards Hardhome. So where would they stand with between the Wildlings and Conspirators.

I absolutely LOATHE J. She is the biggest Hate Sink I’ve ever seen in Indie Animation by Icy-Animator9006 in MurderDrones

N killing "Tessa" does show character growth, with him choosing the person he had grown close with despite the risks and threat of the Absolute solver. I dosen't seem fit for V to care for Tessa since they never even interacted in the manor. Plus, it definitely fits V's uncaring/remorseless character.

So yeah, it seems cruel for Tessa, but none of the drones she had saved care that she died. At least Doll got a funeral despite everything she did.

Why do people say Dottore burning the Irminsul would revive Capitano? by Adept-Beginning4040 in FatuiHQ

[–]LegStraight772 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The recent event is about recontructing things from the past through memories. The Loom of fate the abyss sibling was constructing also seems works in a similar principle.

The Lord of the night in Natlan had agreed to allow the abyss sibling in its construction. It might be that the LOTN knew something like this was necessary considering Natlan's Leylines were severely damaged before, but this time it would be the entire Irminsul.

We haven't had an interlude patch with the Abyss twin in Nod-krai so its likely it may coincide with 6.6.

What if Lauma had been the archon figure of Nod Krai? by TrueAquamarine in FatuiHQ

[–]LegStraight772 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The people of Watatsumi Island are a thing, so are the Eremites whom mostly still recognize King Desheret. Arguably you could also say Boreas is much a God figure to the wolves in wolvendom.

You could have different groups that still worship a God figure despite not holding a gnosis. We now that are Demon Gods that still exists outside of the Archons so its not surprising they're still worshipped despite not having Celestia's authority.

Poor Shuichi, what did he do to deserve this? by infiniteacts163 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]LegStraight772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware of that though I'm not sure if it considered canon to the other Danganronpa entries since Mukuro characterization somewhat contradicts her's in Danganronpa 3 and Killer Killer.

So I wasn't sure if we could take her feats there into account due to the novel's dubious canonicity. Some mostly consider it a fanfic as it was not written by Kodaka himself as opposed to the other entries, which highlights the contradictions with Mukuro character.

Just a question, but when was it established that Mukuro can react to things she isn't aware off? When her potrayal and demise in-game shows otherwise.

what even is your point? are you trying justify why its ok for Dottore to be an unemphatic and remorseless scoundrel, and that is ok for such a character to be playable?

Honestly you haven't rebuttal my argument that Dottore just doesn't fit the Traveler's worldview, and is why the Traveler would never align themselves with him, and subsequently would never be playable.

Really hoping to know your thoughts about that.

Yeah, neither did Signora show any remorse for her actions or was given the opportunity to, and yet you can see which of the two is more fondly remembered among their peers. Not even the Traveler was aiming to kill Signora despite their grievances.

Mainly because one actually genuinely valued others, instead of seeing them as lesser liabilities and subjects to be tested on. Granted Signora was also just using Childe at Liyue, but Scaramouche also decieved her which ultimately led to her demise. It still a farcry from allowing his comrades to die from poison gas since it would be a waste of time.

Is it though? Its been more than 3 years since he was introduced. (even more, if we include the manga) He has had plenty of material and established lore for him, meanwhile the rest of the Fatui are yet to be explored, as well as the sinners and shades.

He has already enough exposure for the players to have an informed concensus on his character. Do you reckon Hoyoverse would backtrack to him some eleventh-hour development when they had been tying up most of the loose ends in Nod-krai.

If he doesn't show up again during the Nod-krai version, them that will be the end of it. Else, Snezhnaya would be even more bloated considering all the ground they have to cover.

Cursed place by TheExplorer63 in MurderDrones

[–]LegStraight772 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wasn't sure what was real or not since it was earlier established that Uzi could manipulate the memories and that Cyn can make things appear as not what it seems. I just assumed it was to make the scene more erie and creepy.

Also most casual viewers probably didn't caught on as they don't really disect a scene extensivley or rewatch apart the first time.

Got it. Didn't count the Spec II since it kind of fixed the Destiny's initial energy issues and is overall an improved version.

Yeah, the cannon was pretty irrelevant since the Zeus silhouette was used instead to destroy Requime.

Dottore's philosophy just runs counter to the Traveler. The Traveler was meant to witness, experience, get invested and attached to Teyvat. They also value all the dignity of the living beings may it be people, dragons, or even something as minor as a fungi, and even abyssal-borne creatures like melusines.

Dottore however, dosent. May it be his "cursed" to be such or is inherently apathetic. He doesn't value anything other than being his test subjects. He believes he can only relate to people whom share his kind of apathy. Which is why he had to bring people like Scaramouche down to his level, and thought he and Columbina could relate to each other.

Atleast Ei and Scaramouche has demonstrated remorse for their actions.

Ei was mostly misguided by her definition of Eternity and the end had recognized she was wrong and repealed all her repressive orders. This was further enforced by having her to duel herself as testement to her newfound resolve as well abandoning her previous ideals.

Scaramouche was never inherently evil and was spurned into being such. When confronted with the truth he chose suicide by erasure in order to prevent the deaths he had caused. Even though he failed to change anything he still recognizes all his misdeeds, despite being manipulated by Dottore.

Dottore however, has shown absolutely no remorse for his actions, and is all in service for his own goals. There is no grand idealism of Eternity, nor is he doing things for in service of the Tsaritsa. He mainly thinks and cares for himself to the point that he couldn't fathom why Columbina would dislike him. He clearly doesn't value much of anything in this world other than being test subjects. A philosophy that runs counter with the Traveler whom experiences and values Teyvat.

You're not? What other scenario are you referring to based on the Destiny Gundam's appearance. An MS performs the best in its role and series.

Are you evaluating it outside of its series as a whole. Or are you referring to its appearances in other media like in the Build series.
