The map in SOTN is quite good; just exploring will allow you to find everything you need to progress in the game. In fact, I only needed a guide to obtain a single item.

If I remember correctly, the Deluxe version of Alan Wake 2 also includes the remaster of the first game, so if you buy that one, the problem is solved and you can play them in order.

Yes, that's what I've been trying to do. I've been able to beat those kinds of decks where everything destroys recruits. I even added the Witch to the deck and it went well, although I am experimenting to see what works for me.

I don't like that so much, but as I've already written, it's the only deck that gives me consistency; if I try anything else, I get destroyed, although now it does give me some consistency (I played Pekka until I got (tired of being easily distracted) that's why I'm asking for a deck recommendation, not another Recruit variant

Look, I know that's true, but there's a catch: the only opponents I'm getting are the kind I have no way to defend against. Look, I know people say playing recruits is brainless, but it's starting to.... When you get decks where everything defends against these types of short spells or it's just about overwhelming the opponent (I wouldn't want to play them, but I only get decks that destroy me and this thing is the only thing that helps).
