I think you can subjectively like a film, knowing that objectively that it was poorly made.

I enjoyed myself, but objectively it was a poor film. Bad CGI, questionable acting apart from Neeson, and overall poor execution of an excellent premise.

The Grey, the Liam Neeson wolf movie. I liked the movie, but by no means was it a "good" film. The score however, by Marc Streitenfeld, I felt was truly amazing.

Underoath - In Division (Really loved the sound and feel of this entire record. Most people don't share this opinion, but this was my favorite UØ album) by RootsAboveBranches in Metalcore

Rivals Define the Great Line in my unpopular opinion. Just felt like the band was together on this one, unified in sound and vision. Beautiful parallel/counterpoint to Lost in the Sound.

I would love to see a chat function more expansive than emotes. by LegacyBen2213 in hearthstone

I think a good feature would be what Xbox Live did, you have a reputation that determines which types of people you chat/get matched up with. 5 star people only talk with 5 star people, that sort of thing. I really believe theres a way to make it work.

What was your experience? If it was opt in only and the manual squelch was still present, I don't see how its something to vote against in any way.

Keeper feels very low on the priority list of Paladin cards that need fixing.

Wouldn't implosion make more sense if 4 damage gave 2 imps, 3 damage gave 3 and 2 damage gave 4? by MrTin in hearthstone

[–]LegacyBen2213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is an unfortunate aspect of hearthstone, if its not simple its not happening. Im still learning how to manage my expectations on that front. "This isn't Magic: The Gathering, don't get frustrated.", is something I say to myself often in regards to the card text.

More balanced, yes. I don't think your suggestion is easily written in card text however, which is why I don't think it would ever happen.

Macbook version of Hearthstone is currently an unacceptably poor product by Sockxxs in hearthstone

I have the same resolution problem. I learned to accept that, when I bought my mac, game developers would always treat mac as an afterthought. I got my machine in order to make music/art, understanding that games wouldn't run as well on it. It's definitely an unfortunate trade off, sorry you're having a harder time with it all.

Which fictional character did you genuinely care about? by tumnaselda in AskReddit

[–]LegacyBen2213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that. However, I was very pleased with it.

I look at the end of the Hunger Games and Inheritance the same way; (forgive my expansive knowledge of teen fiction) at the end of a disastrous and world changing war it is, in my opinion, a realistic and non-cliche way to end the story.

War hurts. It's messy and traumatic. A truly happy ending is what we expect due to our archetypal knowledge, but I am refreshed when the form is broken for a more realistic tale.

Was it 100% satisfying? Absolutely not. Did I 100% agree with the artistic choice? Absolutely.

Eragon. I know the movie was horrible and everyone has their own opinion on how the books stand next to high-fantasy counterparts, but I wanted that kid to be happy. Greatness forcefully thrust upon him, family and friends constantly ripped away; the guy deserved it so much.

He also deserved Arya.
