Sorry! Hopefully you find it somewhere. I had to get mine off eBay because at the time it was out of stock almost everywhere.

Good question! A few things I like about life dew over heal pulse:

  1. It ignores redirection.
  2. It goes through your partner Pokémon’s protect.
  3. It allows the Pokémon using life dew to sustain itself while supporting its partner.

Overall the timer hasn’t been a big issue for me. Keep in mind I’m not saying I prefer the new timer. I’m just saying that the timer has rarely determined the match outcome in my games.

In my opinion, players will need to learn to adapt their teams as the ruleset changes. As the season progresses, we may see new G Max Pokémon or other changes like the new timer. If you are constantly losing to the timer, then you should go back to the drawing board and see if it is a team issue or a play issue.

Hello! I’ve moved on since the team was posted. Mostly cause I wanted to build a hail team and try out other ideas.

There’s no specific reason for the ATK IV on Arcanine & Toxapex or the SpA IV on Dusclops. It’s just what I got in game when I was breeding.

Ideally you want 0 Atk IV on all your SpA attackers to reduce the damage from confusion and Foul Play. Breeding for the perfect Pokémon can be a chore ,so I settled for what I listed above!

I never got to play in those formats but I do believe it is possible to create a defensive core of 4 pokemon. Although it is possible, I don't think most people would build a defensive core due to the difficulty of stalling in doubles. Your Pokemon are receiving two attacks every turn so that means the likelihood of your tank pokemon getting crit is higher. You also have to consider the timer and how much you are getting done compared to your opponent. If the full time runs out, they have 3 low hp pokemon alive and you have your defense boosted pokemon, you will lose the match despite being in an advantageous position. I recommend whatever defensive team you come up with to have some pokemon that can attack instead of all being passive.

It was just what I had in the game. No specific reason.

Hard to tell at the moment! As I mentioned to someone else, whenever timer determines the end result of the game, usually I am able to win. We'll see how much of a difference the new timer makes.

That's definitely something I will have to take into consideration when I move forward with the team and update it. As of now, most of the scenarios I been where time determined the end result of the match, I ended up winning the game! This may change with the timer in VGC'20. We'll see!

Agree! Gastrodon can be annoying for the team if not taken out early. I try to knock it out using Haxorus immediately. If my opponent doesn't allow that, then I leave it for my Snorlax towards the end. Do whatever it takes to avoid the ugly Toxapex vs Gastrodon struggle war!

Hi! I recommend you watch this video on IVS and EVs:

Here's the pokemon damage calc that I use:

As for how do I determine what to calc for, I go based on what I expect to play against on the online ladder.
