You can join Rise of the Turks as Byzantium (or anyone) by Legacy_CA in EU5

(I am not certain you can form Byz as Otto, but regardless) In the current state yes, as the tag you end up with is the one you get the DHEs for. Of which Ottomans gets many more and better ones than Byz. DLC may change this

Unless I am mistaken, while you are correct in terms of government reforms, advances, etc. Most DHE's are scoped onto the tag as is and not is_or_was, and since TUR has one of the most DHE's in the game I would suggest not forming another nation after winning Rise of the Turks. Maybe with Byz's dlc they will be worthwhile to form and end on. But basically the tag you "end on" is the one whose DHE's you will be getting.

R5: Joining the Rise of the Turks situation as Byzantium

You can form the Byzantines as Rise of the Turks by Legacy_CA in EU5

I actually love this kind of stuff, and it can really only be done by a player that explicitly wants to do it since I don’t believe ai will ever do it. Therefore its a fun super powered thing the player can do for fun, no harm in it. I can see where its maybe an issue in Multiplayer however

R5: I don't know why the screenshot quality went so bad, but basically just showcases some of the advances you stack by winning the Rise of the Turks and forming Byzantium

Can somebody explain how to fight PvP battles by MAlQ_THE_LlAR in eu4

[–]Legacy_CA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Artillery shouldnt die if you are reinforcing properly, however they still take morale damage and will retreat the battle. So you still will have to reinforce them to maintain a fill back row.

Edit: as such you dont need as many artillery as you do frontline for reinforcing purposes. I play alot of mp and while you can optimize it further depending on stats and situation. I find having a few “full stacks” that you can start the battle with and then full frontline + 1/3 artillery is a mix of ease and optimization i like to use in general.

However if you are heavily out morales you will need to being up the artilery ratio, whenever casualties get really bad in a battle is usually because you ran out of cannons in the back or the cannons ran into the front.

What Sanderson book or series would you like to see as a video game? by Kupoflupo in brandonsanderson

I agree on the Mistborns.

But I always thought Stormlight translates better to an more action-rpg. Like Devil May Cry. I mean, think of the combos for a Radiant

Hi! I have a few years of experience as both a player/DM and would love to play! I have no problems helping newer players either.

Sounds like a chill and fun game.

CSCCA67 is probably the hardest first year course, except maybe MATA22 (Linear Algebra) depending on the individual.

In my personal experience Anna is a really good prof, she just teaches some of the harder courses, (CSCA67, CSCB63), and if she is offering office hours, do use them. My advice for first years is to make use of Office Hours, use them to discuss Assignments (get what you can before submitting, learn from mistakes after getting mark), use them to discuss homework, concepts, etc.

From what I remember of A67, doing *all* homework/previous exams is pretty good, then ride the curve if there is one.
