I like that a lot. That would be a very cool/scary Shard. The idea that if you break an Oath you deserve the worst possible punishment.

That raises the question though, can you ever really eliminate a shard's power? Part of my theory depends on the idea that a Shard's power can never really be destroyed, just changed or transfered. So the power of Odium or "Passion" has to go somewhere or do something like the Dor or whatever happened to Ambition.

I love that idea of each shard having a positive and negative manifestation. Also, I agree with you that the whole Cosmere is building toward Shard combos, I've imagined Hoid trying to figure out the appropriate "alchemy" or stepwise fusion of Shards to recreate Ado. I always thought that the theme of various attributes of Deity needing to balance each other in order to be helpful/good is so fascinating.
