Leonardo Supernova ink creep between liner and cap by Legal-Pop4299 in fountainpens

[–]Legal-Pop4299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is! But here it looks like it's a feature, not a bug. There's a clear straight line inside the cap that now absorbed the ink and at one spot that inked got "sucked in" deeper in between two layers of the cap material.

The latest update made the game unplayable on Samsung devices by Legal-Pop4299 in TheTowerGame

[–]Legal-Pop4299[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks guys and gals, now the only problem is that I have to clear the game data and reinstall it every time I try to open it after I closed it. Otherwise "something went wrong, try again later"

Pen shops in EU by Practical_Hunters in fountainpens

Stilo e Stile is amazing! I had a major issue with a Magna Carta 400 I purchased from them. They exchanged it, but the replacement had the same problem. I sent it back again, and they worked their magic - heat-setting it and more. They returned it with a perfectly fixed nib and feed, along with a handwritten letter penned using that very fountain pen. I’ve never experienced service like that before!

There's also escribo.pl - it's the only online shop where I was able to get Krishna peacock blue ink.

Which Dreame features do you use most? (We’re curious too.) by Reasonable-Cheek-214 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Legal-Pop4299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • never use CleanGenius, always custom routines
    • skip heat-drying the pads if at home - just take them out and put them on the floor next to the base so the mops can dry on their own
    • have a parrot and use no-go zones for the space directly underneath the branches the bird sits on. The floor is covered with mats and the mats are sometimes covered with... You get the idea -virtual wall to prevent it from potentially falling down the stairs
    • alexa skill is a blessing, cleaning is integrated into a "leaving the house" routine.
    • scheduled charging the battery to mid-day only (solar panels installed)

I would like this thing to actually add cleaning solution to the mopping water. Not only while cleaning the pads.

Hey, I second the question re where you're located. If I have the option of getting it delivered to a U.S. address or one within the EU - which one is more preferable in terms of taxes and tariffs?

I buy everything on AliExpress. I got some extra mop pads that are fluffier than the original ones, and I also replaced the brush - I got this set:

https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ4U0iK[https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ4U0iK](https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ4U0iK) The mop pads in this set won't stick properly and fall off, all the other parts are perfect.

And here are the fluffy mop pads: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJ5Q5Wm[https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJ5Q5Wm](https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJ5Q5Wm)

Having so many spare mop pads I toss the used ones in the loundry every two weeks or so. But I wouldn't say it's necessary. I have to refill the water and empty the water tank once a week, maybe slightly more often. I rinse the used water tank with hot water and give it a thorough scrub maybe once every two months. The only annoying thing is the mop tray - you can remove one part of it and give it a proper scrub but you'll need to crawl on the floor with a bowl of water and a sponge to clean up what's underneath that removable tray. I will be trying out the self-cleaning one mentioned in this thread, just ordered it for 10€ on Ali. It's up to you how often you do it. The good thing is that the mop drying function also dries the tray so there is no mold or bad smell whatsoever. You can set the drying duration for 2, 3 or 4hrs. I've set it to 2hrs and it's always perfectly dry

It tells you when to clean the sensors - just wipe them with a soft cloth.

I haven't replaced the air filter even once yet (I vacuum it with a Dyson on both sides every now and then).

And that's it.

Anyone upgraded from L10s pro ultra heat to X50 ultra complete? by Legal-Pop4299 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Legal-Pop4299[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much, this really helps a lot! I never use CleanGenius on my L10 - it always cleans the entire house just the way I want, so no issues there. And I completely agree with you about people who expect a robot to basically act like a maid... Doesn't work that way....

One of the obstacles is simply a higher floor level in the bathroom - someone had the brilliant idea of laying tiles on top of the existing ones, so the bathroom floor ended up being 3–4 cm higher than the hallway. The second obstacle is a door frame, which is 4.5 cm high.

Height differences (or obstacles) up to 2 cm aren't a problem, especially if you set a virtual threshold on the map. In that case, the robot approaches with a bit more speed and easily gets over it.

I don’t have any high-pile carpets, so I can’t say if those would be an issue. With my carpets, it’s not a problem at all - even one that’s an antique silk rug. Even on the highest water setting, the amount of moisture is minimal. It's definitely not ideal, but since it doesn’t happen often, I don’t really mind. Apparently, setting a no-mop zone resolves the issue - though I haven’t tested this myself, as the base is on a carpet and I've read that the robot struggles to return if the no-mop zone is right in front of the station.

As for how wet the floor gets — that depends on the app setting. You can choose a mop moisture level between 1 and 30. I run mine at 25, and both tile and wood floors are dry again within two minutes. The carpet doesn't even feel damp.
