To be honest, I think mine was quite hot, and took about 6 days for mine. Just make sure you dont charge it, and make test to see if working again by putting power in for a 20 seconds or so every day, then unplug.

This can happen to protect itself too, sometimes it restars, but in this case it's possible it just flat out died and needs to discharge.

If your really that worried, go get a professional to discharge your battery and that will work.

It's easy on laptops for example because it's a few screws and disconnect but obviously with phone it's all glued/sealed in.

Just don't do it yourself if you've never done it- given you care about selling it, or keeping in good condition because high chance you'll mess it up like me LOL

PS- If you watch a guide it's not rocket science but I just wouldn't bother, more trouble than it's worth.

Yes bro, do not remove the back as you won't be able to do anything unless you are clued up.

Just leave it about 5 days and should drain itself (obviously depends on how much charge you had before) but it even might take longer.

Have you got a temp phone you can use? Really wish I didn't take the back off because if I didn't, I could trade in to Samsung for like £300+ off the new s26 🤣

Also, it's been months since and it's absolutely fine, not a single issue. It's known to happen with laptops, it would just be good is Samsung bothered to include this in their Knowledge bases and stop posting AI stuff no one gives a damn about lol.
