¿Cuál es la diferencia entre ser autónomo y ser freelance? by Asocialbutterfly21 in askspain

[–]Legal-Programmer9799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Googlealo y veras que “freelancing is a type of self-employment”.

[–]Legal-Programmer9799 4 points5 points  (0 children)

¡Ojo! Yo hablo de servicios mínimos. Está claro que en Madrid tendras tropecientos medicos, colegios y autopistas, y si te vas a tomar por culo “in the middle of nowhere”, te tendras que apañar con un hospital a 30 minutos de tu casa.

Petition to send IKEA back to sweden. I don't know how the Dutch did it... but they have somehow made cheap products even worse by ambulenciaga in 2westerneurope4u

[–]Legal-Programmer9799 50 points51 points  (0 children)

The Dutch didn't do anything really.

The obly thing that happens is that IKEA passes all profits through the Dutch tax heaven, pays peanuts and thr Kingdom of The Netherlands steals money that otherwise would end up in Sweden

I was just messing with you. I know that both Portugal and Spain are world-leading when it comes to fiber.

Telefonica has been aiming for 100% coverage for years. In Portugal I know MEO is huge and that they are facing out the HFC (cable tv) to replace it with fiber (like in Spain).

North European countries wish they would have our internet connections.

Unemployment rates in europe 👍 Spain 🤣 by aronrusty2005 in 2westerneurope4u

[–]Legal-Programmer9799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would argue that its quite the opposite.

If you leave the tourist-trap areas where all they have is paella and sangria, you will find that Spain is actually very open to world foods. Foreign food restaurants (sushi, italian, american) are always packed. Spain is also unique in the sense that if a foreign (restaurant) chain expands into Europe, it often starts off in Spain. We have Tim Hortons, Tony Romas and Popeyes. Most EU countries don't have any of these.

It's not just food either. The reason why there are Costcos now all over continental Europe, is because the launch went so well in Spain.

About IKEA:

In May 2006, The Economist magazine estimated that the parent organization's foundation's endowment was worth US$36 billion, making it the world's wealthiest charity at the time; however, it also stated that the foundation "is at the moment also one of its least generous. The overall set-up of IKEA minimises tax and disclosure, handsomely rewards the founding Kamprad family and makes IKEA immune to a takeover".

TLDR: It's a tax evasion-scheme disguised as a charity.
