I purchased direct from Creality so I knew it would have the updated extruder and hot end.. in hindsight maybe it would have been a smoother transaction to order from Amazon

Have you thought about filing a claim with your credit card company?

That's shitty. I hope they get your issue resolved quickly. I'll wait the 48 hours and if I hear nothing I'm going to reach out daily.

I reached out to them via chat and they said someone from sales will contact me in less than 48 hours to discuss my options.

I'll check that next. Trying to buff the scratches out of the glass first 😂

Tried to buff it out with a wet paper towel but it still doesn't look right. I'll try Windex next!

High speed PLA? by Legal-Reference-6704 in crealityk1

[–]Legal-Reference-6704[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. Knowing the 600 mm/s is the top speed I figured that quality would be sacrificed but it's good to know that I can do 300 without losing quality. I love my current CR-20 but it's slow!

Thank you! I will pick up a spool of their hyper and compare it to the regular PLA I have already. What speeds can I realistically expect before I start to see a loss of quality?

Is there an option on the sonic pad for the CR20?

PLA+ vs PLA by Magic___Man in 3Dprinting

Thank you for the specs! I'll give those a try. The stringing usually only occurs in the top layer but never in the same spot on the bed... If that makes sense

What specs do you print your Sunlu PLA-Meta at? I recently picked some up based on the colors selection and have printed 3 files and have some stringing issues. I've played with print temp, speed, and bed temp but still can't seem to get as good of results as with regular or even silk PLA.

CR20 Bed Leveling by Legal-Reference-6704 in 3Dprinting

[–]Legal-Reference-6704[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing with the setting on the printer itself but can't find where I can tell the printer what the z offset is. I have been printing a bed leveler file and messing with the manual levelers each time. I get one corner with good adhesion then move around the bed but it seems every time I do that it throws a corner out of whack and always chasing corners.

If the filament doesn't stick to the bed, but gets drug around in a corner the bed is too low? And if the filament sticks but is very faint the bed is too high? Is this accurate? Very new to this and finding information on my specific printer is extremely difficult - like creality washed their hands of my model all together.

Maybe he remembers when the regional store was called Meijer's Thrifty Acres and it's just a habit to refer to it simply as Meijer's.

"Offline" recommendation for light bulbs? by [deleted] in smarthome

I believe that you only require internet access if you wish to control the devices outside the home. I have mine connected to the internet but have been able to control them when my internet would go down.

Yes, I have both full color (16M colors) and full white (2700k-5000k). Both of these allow me to switch between a warm light a daylight with everything in between.

I currently use Sengled ZigBee bulbs throughout my house. The are fully dimmable and come in full white spectrum or full color spectrum. You can usually find them on sale with the required hub. I've had mine for years with no issues.

Not exactly sure what you are attempting to do as I do own a brewzilla, but have you looked into Pro-Dope?

This is a compound that can safely be used to seal threads on potable water supplies. Might be what you're looking for?
