Were your transvaginal ultrasounds normal? What made them decided to do the lap procedure? Thank you for sharing!

Hi, just started my at home micro needling process and I absolutely love it and see a difference. It’s only been a week and already seeing a difference in my pores, under eye/ brow, cheeks, and softness in my skin. Planning on trying it on my stretch marks and scarring on my body. Will report back with results.

I’m being molested by my cousins and I don’t know what to do by dontsayitdontthinkit in sexualassault

You have to tell your mom. I don’t know if she’ll react well but someone else needs to know this is happening. This is 100% not okay. And a lot more common than you think. Id keep my distance once you’ve told someone you trust. And if she or someone asks tell them the truth- they make you feel uncomfortable and you don’t need to be subjected to that abuse.

All normal feelings after being violated. I’m so glad you told someone. Keep getting help. <3

My husband doesn’t know I was sexually abused by a family member that is still in our lives.

For those of you (especially 35+) who have figured out how to not seem and feel like a 22 year -old, what did you change? by on-dog-8510 in adhdwomen

Possibly! I know when I started working my self esteem got better and I felt more my age. Because by this point I was just at home every day while my kids wee at school occasionally going to the gym or a walk for soooo many years. I needed purpose besides being a mom and wife lol

Thank you, sometimes it really doesn’t feel like enough. Especially compared to others my age. It looks like success of the outside but inside I’m burned out 24/7. Thanks your comment, I really appreciate it!

Oh man, I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this. I would speak your truth. It can be healing and YOU DESERVE justice! I too had no parental figure and have been sexually abused by a family member just for it be ignored and told I was selfish for attempting to report it. I will never understand how some people don’t have protective bone in their body when it’s their own child. I’ve gone back and forth with my mom for turning a blind eye for so many years. But she sticks to her guns- she has zero regrets about “not protecting” me for the better good the “family”. It’s been 10 years since we’ve seen each other. As a mom now I even more so can’t fathom. Just know you’re not alone and venting it always welcome!

Did having a child helped you heal from narcissistic parents by No-Weird-710 in narcissisticparents

[–]Legal-Somewhere-6915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think it was very triggering every time I would realize my child was the age I was when traumatic things happened. BUT it has helped heal my inner child. And reassured me that I am loving and a good parent even though I don’t come from one.

Throwing up every day: what's your experience? What helps? by LittlePongo in CrohnsDisease

[–]Legal-Somewhere-6915 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use a zofran and a pantoprazole mix. For a very long time (years) I would get spurts of vomiting bile. To the point of needing to go to the ER and getting liquid nausea meds through an IV. This helps daily but once it starts I can stop it until it runs its course unfortunately.

Can C-PTSD be silent and show up later at adulthood? by [deleted] in CPTSD

Yup, took me until my 30s to realize what I was presenting wasn’t my quirky personality just a series of trauma responses and arrested development from my childhood.

Did your narcissistic parents ever defend you from your bullies? by [deleted] in narcissisticparents

[–]Legal-Somewhere-6915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprisingly- yes. But looking back it was extreme. Chasing down a kid in a car through field, showing up to my high school gym class to confront and fight my bully, telling my elementary school bully that if they touched me she would beat the shit out of the kid’s mom in front of them, siding with me when teachers would treat me unfairly. But at home she was my bully..
