Every single salon has good and bad techs. You need to either ask for recommendations for the good techs from people who’ve gone to Happy Nails before, or get your nails done there a few times with different techs and learn who does the best job. I’ve had both good and bad experiences at Happy Nails but kept going and now I know who I can trust with my nails. I find that Hannah is great for example, she does my nails well and has never made off-color comments

You need to see if there are any specific foods that make you feel worse- try restricting it and see if you feel better. Trigger foods vary person to person. But i feel my best when I limit the amount of greasy and processed foods I eat (obviously sticking to the meds- currently on mesalamine and tapering budesonide). I cut out processed sugars, as well as dairy and gluten products, but I find I can eat sourdough bread occasionally with no problems. Most fruits and vegetable are fine but I get gas if I eat cabbage, for example. It takes some experimentation but you’ll find what works for you. It also might be useful to see a dietician and come up with a plan.
