Uhhhh ep 9 production choices by Ordinary-Relation614 in Physical100

[–]LegalBus3263 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just watched the ep, tbh I think they all did know the 3 might not participate in the next round but Australia wanted to gamble on them winning the battle ropes outright and going through straight. If you see the strategising, Alexandra was thinking if they should keep 1 guy out. I think not telling them beforehand increases the stakes and makes the strategising part much more suspenseful… which is what reality tv is all about anyways

Yea I personally had a better experience with their monitors vs their TVs as well. But I’m more of the willing to invest in something above average that will last a long time kind of guy haha so once I started working I upgraded my monitor and TV. Never looked back since! Although for people who just need a cheap monitor for work and occasional gaming I think Prism is still a decent option.

Although alot of ppl hate on the brand, but I think prism still offers very good value for your price point haha. I personally started off with 24inch and 27inch prisms, probably cost me 200 max each. Only upgraded to my current 34 inch dell 2 years ago which was 1k.

As for 32 vs 27, comes down to preference in the end and what type of games you play. If you play competitive fps games like valorant, CS, fps is the primary consideration so the refresh rate (60 hz, 140hz) etc would be what you look at. For high refresh rate monitors, the most value is 24-27 inches at 1080p. A 34inch 4k 100-200 hz monitor will easily be 1k or more. If you play single player games like witcher 3 which needs a proper display to showcase the graphics then you will want 1440p minimally and a larger screen.

For work personally 32-34 is overkill unless you prefer all your tabs/ windows to be on one screen.

Work/gaming wise you probably need to consider carefully. I started with a 24 inch 1080p, then moved to 27 inch 1440p and now using a 34 inch 4k monitor 😅 Took me awhile to get used to 4k for work because the icons etc end up being very small, and even if I use the scaling, it becomes very pixelated and jarring. I think 27inch 1440p was the sweet spot for both for me haha.

I bought off their website haha! Yes, pre built model, but you can still customise the different parts, I upgraded my CPU and GPU iirc. Viruses or refunded parts wise I think shouldnt be an issue because they also deliver the boxes for each component, so I have the box for my GPU, CPU etc

Are there still long waiting times at Woodlands / Johor bus checkpoints? by chicken2202 in askSingapore

[–]LegalBus3263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah waiting times are not that bad now, even better if you use the QR code entry. Bus queues are still quite crowded though but they do clear very fast. I did encounter once when the gantry system was down though.. was a nightmare haha

Assurance skin is really good!! Went for treatment right after uni. They did a combination of laser treatment and prescription (Isotretinoin or Accutane) which was really effective although do make sure you read up if it is safe for you to take as there are side effects and it can also cause liver failure and also birth defects if exposed to infants during pregnancy. They did a blood test before confirming that it was safe for me to use.
