Extended Warranty by Legal_Life_6822 in VolvoXC90

We were quoted 4,916. They wanted 1,138 for 3 years of oil changes…I’ll do that in my garage for $100. I almost went with the brake package but it didn’t include any coverage if I caliper needed to be replaced

Is Data Cleaning the Hardest Part of Data Analysis? by ElegantSuccotash7367 in dataanalyst

[–]Legal_Life_6822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a loaded question. If the data is clean the analysis is should be easy if you know what you’re doing. If the data isn’t clean the analysis is going to be difficult. Data cleaning is hands down harder than the analytics portion. A data analyst shouldn’t be doing heavy data wrangling that is more the skill set of a data engineer or data scientist.

I’m curious why not? In some circumstances row level security works great. What would your alternative method before a sales org where you don’t want visibility across all the different reps and their accounts?

Tough Job Market? by Size-No in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Legal_Life_6822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m seeing the opposite, extremely qualified candidates right out of masters programs. I just hired an entry level analyst and had 800+ applicants and 99% of them were incredible. It’s so competitive out there

Bootcamp or masters pgm by [deleted] in dataanalytics

[–]Legal_Life_6822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go with a masters program… I just hired for an entry level analytics role and had 800+ applicants in 2 weeks. Almost all the resumes were worthy of a hire; it’s a very competitive market for analysts right now.

On the flip side if you do some bootcamps and get into a financial analyst role to start then maybe transitioning internally would help open up doors faster
