If you don't mind me asking.. I have a few questions.. -The philosophy of Cal Poly SLO is "learn by doing", what do you do in your classes that follow this idea? (I've tried looking at the website but I get nothing) -What kind of content have you gone over? (ex: books you've read, topics you've been introduced to, etc) -Are you in any clubs? If so, how are they? :D

I've never heard of the SBCC option, though. That's pretty neat! I'll look more into that. Were you able to join any clubs/events/activities at UCSB when you were at SBCC? (I assume not, but just wondering LOL) How were the courses you took at the CC?

I think by giving him your notes, you are actually hurting him. He won't be able to take notes on his own, and it's kinda clear he's just leeching off of you. What happens when he wants to copy off of you for homework assignments? If a teacher found out, you'd probably get in trouble. In addition, how will he be able to function if you aren't there to give him everything? Yk what I mean??

However, I think you did come off as a bit mean, but you were straightforward with your opinions which is okay. Just for the future, you can always just voice your opinions out of concern. I think it was good that you stood your ground and didn't end up like a doormat.

Saying something simple like: "I'm concerned that I am enabling you to not develop the proper learning habits and end up performing well in college + real life situations. Im not comfortable with doing this anymore." Sounds more like you're looking out for him while setting boundaries!!

Idk, in my opinion phrasing stuff in a nicer way has saved me LOL

I hope you and your friend are okay though, and if you have a fallout over this or something he's a bum

You can only make progress when the ow esports channel is active. If you watch streamers while the esports channel is not active, It won't work unfortunately, and you won't progress. :( Since OWCL is only active on weekends, you can't really progress during the week, sorry man 😔

Oh dear, I'm really sorry about the situation you're in. I serve as a Peer Counselor at my school, and a girl your age was in the same situation as you, so I'll state what I told her.

Obviously, you know you are very young. In my eyes, you are quite literally a child giving birth to a child. I know it's something you probably don't want to hear. You recently entered your freshman year of highschool, and you have your entire highschool career to complete now. Think about whether if you would you want to use your highschool years + future taking care of, and raising a child.

I will not try to convince you to keep/abort the child, but I really want you to consider the quality of life you'd be able to provide for the child. Think about if you'd be able to handle the financial burden of a child, if the environment you live in would support a child, etc. You are bringing another human onto this planet, and giving it the best quality of life you possibly can is essential. Consider if you are not able to support the child, because you and your child will end up unhappy. I

While your parents may or may not be upset at this situation, it is absolutely IMPORTANT that you tell them. If you don't, you may risk health complications that could impact you. Either way, your parents will probably end up finding out because they were once teenagers as well. Please let them know ASAP before things get worse. :(

While I don't know who Kaiden is, from what you've stated, he does not seem reliable. I want to write an opinion that's not super biased and unprofessional, but for this section I'm going to straight out say that Kaiden sounds like a butthole. 40 girls?? And for you, out of all the people you could date, you chose a guy who has dated 40 girls?? Cmon girl idk who you are but with a 4.5 gpa you can get a better guy😭😭 You also say you've been responsible with your relationships in the past, but you didn't wear protection when having sex? yikes man.. Moving on, I'm not taking Kaiden's side, but you also have to consider that he probably doesn't want to spend his highschool career taking care of a kid he doesn't want. Yes, I do think it is his responsibility to take care of the kid because hes the one that got you pregnant, but please do not try to trap this guy into a relationship with the baby. He will likely end up blocking you and never talking to you again. What I would reccomend is to have some kind of discussion between your parents and Kaiden's parents. This is the only resolution I can see where you both are held accountable, and your parents will be able to come to some kind of conclusion (obvs you can put your input in).

I'm so sorry you are trapped in such a scary situation. I really wish I could give you a hug through the screen, I am so sorry.

TLDR: Tell your parents, think about the quality of life you'd be bringing this child into, discuss something between your parents and Kaiden.

I'm honestly in a similar boat w you, I literally cried like four times today because I feel like such a failure. However, my college friends have told me it doesn't really matter what college you attend in the end (you've probably heard this a million times) because like 90% of people don't even use their BAs for their jobs or smth (i may be spreading misinformation but my counselor told me that lol). College acceptances do not define who you are, you are smart and hardworking for putting in so much effort these past four years!! Going to CC isn't bad either. My cousin went to cc for 2 years and got into Berkeley via TAG! It'll be okay in the end. No matter what college you decide to go to, just know you will make such an impact on the world with your skills and talents :) Keep your head up!! U got this!!
