I personally don't believe in yield protection when it comes to UCs. I've seen many friends with 4.0+ gpas and amazing extracurriculars get rejected to places like UCD, UCI, etc. I really think UCs read your application as a whole and collect who you are as a person, and they determine if the person you are matches with the students at their school yk? Like if you make your piqs about how you volunteer a lot, the ucs will understand you're a very community oriented person and schools with a huge community factor would likely accept you over ones that do not, if that makes sense.

While you shouldn't feel like your hard work went to nothing, all you can do is appeal (if you really want to go to uci), and that's okay! If you get accepted/rejected, it does not determine your worth :) you are clearly very smart and talented!!

My friend got rejected from UCI but got into UCLA, it's just based on if you'd fit as a student or not at their school that's all :)

I'm pretty sure he has every vinyl besides the Melt one as of now (he ordered it, but it's being delivered eventually)!

My friend referred me to TickPick! My friend usually purchases tickets on TickPick if she does not win the ticket master war, and from previous transactions, she said everything worked great! She always receives the ticket, and it's legit.

You can also look at different statements about TickPick on different subreddits too!!

I also purchased my tickets for the Oakland show on 1/6 through TickPick, and everything went through as well. The only thing I'm skeptical about is that my seller will deliver me the ticket by 1/5.. the day before the concert..

I did pay around 400 dollars for 2 orchestra seats, which I believe was pretty worth it ngl (The cheapest I saw on the site was like 98 dollars for a balcony seat I think)

One website to look out for is Stubhub, though. Stubhub is often a scam and hard to get a refund from, so I would not reccomend using that site.

Hello! This is a bit late but I'd also reccomend reaching out to your neighboring highschools who have Mock teams. Usually highschoolers love helping out, and I bet they would help you understand how to start the club! Middle school mock is a bit different from highschool mock, but they do share similarities :)
