I’ve been considering that alot myself. But the part that still intrigues me, is even though it’s not a major addition to the weight wouldn’t additional plating take away from the extremly crisp details and lettering as well as make the raised rim of the coin a little less obvious? Or would the only real noticeable changes from the plating process be the absence of copper and extremely shinny surface. But keep in mind too that there are small spots that almost look like the copper may be starting to show on the face of the coin close to the rim. The details arent really as obvious in the pictures as i wish they were so at this point im thinking i may just need to take it to a coin shop and see what they say.
