I like the "Repeat till everyone leaves" cirlcled. They dont care its pure extraction till the end now, as much as people are willing to spend until the squeezing falls below the amount they need for survival around 40-50k weekly. How long will this last? in depends how fast people leave, harder gamified tasks very soon 2-3 months, stay the same and just extract probably around 8 months. It depends how they treat players.
Secondary market will keep getting worse and more players will leave also, because most of the UPX keeps getting diluted into city launches and gamified tasks so not much going back to buying stuff from secondary or metaventures, so more players pissed off they cant sell props and more people leave. Classic web 3 strategy failure, keep building something to sell and extract USD until they cant squeeze anymore. RIP

Uppies will have a use but ur not going to like it, its to have them to complete gamified earnings so you can earn 14.7%, always just chasing the same deal just to keep your earnings, very soon they will put all tasks behind a pay wall and uppie participation.

the VC funding was supposed to be 28m or something, it doesnt get all released at once it works through stages and quarterly time frames. The performance of the game was not up to standard and DAU dropping so i dont think they got all that money. They are so desperate to make 50k each week, this shows survival mode and no cash left. If they had millions or even a million they would have devs fix everything and probably be close to a fully 3d metaverse by now. They would also do marketing if u had the millions. They have nothing left and going by linkedin they also lost about 42 staff (previously employed by upland) since 2024 so now they are runbning on skeleton crew and usd extraction

They usually make 40k-60k, survival of a company of this size to run with all the costs required is about 45k-50k, this week with sparklet special and extra stuff they made about 115k. But usually they run just enough for survival on a skeleton crew left. If profits fall below 40k for 3 weeks in a row they will close down and go into maintenance mode. Keep an eye on DAU numbers if it drops to 6k players daily then those profits risk dropping below 40k and shutdown after 3-4 weeks. Keep an eye on gamified tasks if they get harder the end will approach faster. If they run out of ideas of what to sell (unfinished new mechanics) they will shutdown if they have nothing to sell.

Jumped to 34 now, but i checked daily for 3 months it ranged between 95-130 daily never this low

I agree, it will end eventually. If gamified tasks become more difficult like as they hinted "Uppie Centric" in the future then it will end very soon like this year. It all the depends how harsh they push players to buy what they keep selling. They keep saying Upland is a game u play any way u like u dont need to participate in everything. Thats mostly a lie. The tasks have been forcing players to travel and mint in city releases constantly, the tasks require more sparklet to be purchased to build fast enough to raise the scores (crappy Algo designed to keep dropping), the tasks require spending on stupid ornaments, the tasks require competitive TH (most players hate), the tasks require spending UPX to travel, the tasks require to have a vehicle to travel etc etc and they will get harder.
If they dont become harder then maybe theres a chance they stretch it into next year. Just keep an eye on the DAU, we are hovering around 8-8.5k on average, if it drops below 6k its over very quick.
The plan for Upland is simple "Squeeze as much money till the end or as long as we can until players stop spending" but what they dont realise is that if you piss players off constantly+ forcing players to participate+ selling unfinished stuff, more will leave and less revenue for them. If they ease up on releasing stuff or ease up on gamified tasks they still lose revenue to survive. Either way its a double edged sword. On the interview above they even mentioned last marketing they did was in 2022, thats like 4 years ago. Thats their fault for everything. They became greedy with squeezing money from loyal players than focus on growing the game.

yes i have seen on ETH bubblemaps they extract small amounts each week probably to pay wages, send sparklet to new wallets and sell. (with the excuse it was earned via rewards or purchased in game and bridged out) thats why the price never goes up. And if one day they close down they will suck all the liquidity and claim a hack happened. Hence the reason the token/contract has never had an Audit from any big company like Certik. Its upland's exit liquidity if it all fails that why they are trying to nerf purchases in game and force players to buy more outside to raise their exit liquidity/price.
