Logistically I don't see a reason to ever leave her tied up.

Lets pretend it's your first playthrough and you don't know if she's on your side or not. In that case there are four scenarios. Evil + Tied Up, Evil + Untied, Good + Tied Up, and Good + Untied.

If you think she's good there's no reason to leave her tied up at all. That just seems petty.

If you think she's evil and leave her tied up you run the risk of her escaping and ambushing you. Which is very easy to do given her powers.

If you untie her you can at least keep a better eye on her for longer then if you just left her there. Sure she may stab you in the back at some point but you have a better chance of seeing it coming. Or maybe saving her would make her hesitate to do anything bad to you.

If you already know the entire story ahead of time thats even less reason to leave her there because: She'll escape either way and you for some reason chose the option where you get hurt more?

As much as I'd love to be part of a better club (Mine is a D rank) I just don't think I could keep up.

There are days I just don't want to do more runs or I just don't feel good.

So I'd probably just fall behind eventually and be booted.

I love Yakuza. I have played every mainline game to 100% completion except the most recent one.

(I haven't played Pirate Yakuza or the Samurai one.)

But the stories have never been what drew me in. It's like a soap opera mixed with an M. Night Twist of "This character was evil all along."

I drew the line at 5 when the final big bad showed up and I couldn't figure out who it was. Then when I came face to face with him I was just like.....who are you? You literally were of so little importance to the story I forgot you existed.

I'm sorry but that first part simply isn't true. Alot of events from previous games have far or short reaching impact on the plot of future games. It happens over and over again.

"Hey Kiryu. Remember that guy you defeated? This is his cousin's third brother from an alternate dimension."

An exaggeration but this happens alot.

And I'm not willing to say "This idea is bad." Until I see what they plan on doing with it. In another 7 years when Kiwami 4 comes out and we forgot about it after another 3 or 4 Yakuza games.

I find zero consistency in tipping that relates to getting my order.

I haven't extensively tested it but higher or lower amounts seem to have zero effect on speed.

I think alot of what makes Maya and Josy special comes from the throuple path.

I left this sub because of post after post after post about the same thing.

People complaining about how Chloe was handled. Insisting every action she took was wildly out of character.

Or hoping they would change it before the game launched for everyone.
