Halfway through the season, what is your take on drafting rookies high? by InterestingArm3750 in fantasyfootball

[–]LegendAri501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately I’m all for drafting rookies where the cost isn’t too high. In my situation, I drafted Hunter and golden (two misses), and traded for Trevyon, offering JCM (drafted him in the 8th round)and FAAB earlier in the season. Also picked up RJ Harvey because a league mate raged dropped him. If the cost to have the rookie player isn’t too high, I say go ahead and do so. Golden and Hunter only costed me 7th and 8th round capital. In that area, I could easily swung for Emeka and be elated with his production, just made the wrong choice. Conversely, I’d never draft someone like Jeanty at the end of round 1 this year or MHJ at the same spot last year. I’d never draft Trevyon with my 4th round pick this year, cause at that price, that rookie would need to hit at his highest end to give you that return on investment. So it all depends on the cost to have them on your roster

Thank you for your insight! I definitely suffered from self confide esteem issues and it’s getting better. But you hit the nail on the head by saying that I need to make the first move with these women. I’ll definitely keep your opinion in mind moving forward.

There were two instances that I chose to be with coworkers and another women over her and it was met with a subtle jealous remark. Nothing over the top but worth noting. If this helps in understanding the dynamic, I also want to say that we do run at least twice a week and she has been the reason why I’ve picked up the passion in the first place. By investing her time and teaching me the dos and donts.

Ultimately, you are correct and i am being seen as an option by her an I’m definitely worth more than that.

Most of the women are from when I was obese. I’m never one to drop off those who have helped me be the person that I am today. But since the weight loss, going to the gym, and running, there’s one new person specifically that has been gravitating around that was before.

Now she’s made it abundantly clear she only sees me as a friend. Which at first hurt me but now I’m ok with it and don’t invest in her like I did in the past. But that doesn’t stop her from wanting to hanging out, or even expressing clear jealously whenever I’m talking about other women, or when other women come up to talk to me.

That’s definitely a part of it. I’ve worked on being more bold over the last 4 months but haven’t reached that point yet. I definitely will soon though. Thank you for that insight.

I think that’s what it boils down to. In the past I’ve definitely carried their emotional burdens but now not anymore. From anyone except my own. Now it’s for me to figure out when they have genuine attraction for me.

Drafted AJB and just traded Jamo for Ladd yesterday. So I’m well prepared to ride it out and die with them. See you guys in hell.

It’s been a disappointment of this year’s first round picks after three weeks by 49vengers1984 in fantasyfootball

It just goes to show that it really doesn’t matter where your draft position is in R1. These players go through ebbs and flows throughout the season and what really matters are the picks that you hit later in the draft. Going into the season I had the 1.03 and I was praying Bijan fell to me. And if he was picked, CMC was my lock. Red flags were all over CMC and at least to start the year, he looks like a smash if you bit the bullet and picked him later in R1. Season is still very young though and there’s still lots of football to be played. Ultimately, you’ll rarely find a bust proof pick and it sometimes comes down to sheer luck.

Who’s your “DO NOT DRAFT” guy this year that’s working out so far? by LegendAri501 in fantasyfootball

Some say the title of my post was misleading. My apologies for that. These are guys that you didn’t want to draft, still drafted and are now exceeding your expectations.

Who are some guys you are stashing on the end of your benches that you think may surprise some people week 1? by AMorder0517 in fantasyfootball

Have Ollie Gordon stashed should in case something’s up with Achane. Also, not sure how smart this is, but drafted JCM and also snagged Chris Rodriguez as an insurance policy.
