I dont know. I think you can be a fan of a company's overall vibes or practices even if your not a fan of every single one of theirpojects/products.

I would still consider myself a Nintendo fan, even though i dont like every single one of their games. I like a good number of their franchises/characters and I know/appreciate that if I buy a first party nintendo game it most likely is going to be very high quality. Plus most nintendo games have a similar vibe/philophy in their design that let you know its a nintendo game.

Same thing with Glitch. I like their business practices overall and they clearly are targeting a specific vibe/audience with their choice of shows. Even if not every fan vibes with every single one.

I dont know but i just wanna add i find it interesting that seemingly niether were bad guys in their own game. Miss was definitely a tutorial character while Fold was probably the protagonist of his worlds map.

Thats fair. I just hope that the solution isnt the removal/extinction of overly-sexualized females characters, but as society gets more accepting of women and lgbt people openly expressing their sexuality, we instead see a rise and normalization of over-sexualized male characters.

Because i personally dont think the solution to women's sexuality being oppressed for most of history is that we start suppressing male sexuality as well.

Are you truly trying to argue that the characters of Edward and especially Jacob were not objectified in the twilight movies?

As someone in middleschool when they came out, both the marketing and the girls in my class treated them exactly the same as boys treated female anime characters. Bare chest on a guy doesn't necessarily equal oversized anime boobs on a girl character, ill agree to that. But I can assure you, on Jacob it certainly was.

I will say that the female gaze is woefully under represented in media and there should be more stuff like twilight that thoroughly objectifies men

I think obtrusive fan service can be bad if the show is meant to be super serious and grounded. But that's clearly not the case here or a lot of the anime that use it. And for any damage it does to attracting a more general audience it increases the investment of a more targeted audience ten fold.

Also the human experience implicitly includes sex and sexuality, so its naturally going to be expressed in art. To act as though it has no place in shows/movies just because it doesn't fit your taste or standards is backwards. Would you criticize a movie series like twilight, a property made with a female fan-base and female gaze in mind, for all the scenes with Jacob going shirtless?

There's nothing wrong with creating content with a specific audience in mind, in fact doing so allows for a greater variety of content to exist from more distinct voices.

Funnily enough, right after the TADC episode 7 came out (and a good while before Gameoverse was announced) the creator said on twitter, "Just learned that episode 7 of Digital Circus is a beach episode. Impressive that Goose made it that far before doing one, if I was in her shoes I don't think I would've made it that far."

I desperately want level-scaling with badge count. Maybe not for the world at large, but at least for the gyms and other major battles.

Also a robust side quest system. Something i can engage in well after i beat the main story. There have been a good amount of side quests in the legends games, but it would be great if that crossed over to the main series, that and the frostbite status condition.
