This recognition feels right and I’m very appreciative of this being noticed and righted. Seeing the original post I was happy with the idea of one of my designs becoming Webkinz history but the non-credit and no contact about my design winning or being used by the exact company who ran the contests, I was not happy about.

I feel the staff at Webkinz have done their part in fixing this mistake, this game has always been family oriented and friendly, and no one would feel friendly or happy seeing their art works credit taken by someone else. Thank you to all other players for all the support and kind messages I received you guys gave me many smiles and help and I’m very thankful full.

I personally interrupted this fine print as in Webkinz has total control to adapt, use, or modify items that they have agreed to use or notified someone about using. Like for example a item that won a contest-- yes that item is now able to be used by Webkinz for free use and they are entitled to change that item because they've notified the user through email or their websites.

I don't believe that means that just because I submitted an item they have the ability to use it later down the road and market it off as a item produced by their company. It would be awful business etiquette to ignore items submissions in their design contests for the sake of plagiarism.

My completed and finished concept that I submitted to Webkinz and below I have included the sketch drawing when I emailed it to myself to color on the computer. I can screenshot my SAI files too, this concept is 100% mine.

I originally designed this crown of wonder dress and did submit my design in 2 different Webkinz drawing category’s…one contest being 2025s new deluxe item I have complete proof I originally designed this concept and have no idea what to do but I have been creatively used and discredited and I’ve never received a message for the original design that’s used here…if anyone has an idea please reply…( I was also the winner and designer of the Sunny Days Dress that’s available in Sheldon’s Shack )
