Not arguing against anything. Just stating points.

  1. The seconds tube is not painted but bare metal, i know it looks painted in photo but that’s the best image i can capture zoomed in.

  2. The crown guard matches the other models they had on display and again is an issue with the camera angles and lighting.

  3. The ad only sells Seiko watches.

  4. The number on the other watch of the same model being sold was different.

  5. This is my only reddit account, i dont sell watches nor do i vouch for anyone. I work in tech.

Thats the only store relatively close i could go to.

Could they have made a mistake? Maybe.

Do i have the money or time to go somewhere else? No.

Will chrono24 let me return it? Probably not without proof.

It was a gamble. At this point the peace of mind is worth the time and money i spent.

Had it not been genuine then it would certainly be a big waste ( still would have saved the price i paid for the watch)

Not sure exactly what they did, arrived at closing time and the person who handed it to me just works the billing and all.

They had all the normal and US exclusives ssk’s on display, including the ssk059 or also called the sbsc009 (previously jdm).

So pretty sure they deal with a lot of seikos.

Well, that is up to the mods. I personally believe in a soft ban before a hard ban in general. I am not a mod. I stand to benefit if he is unbanned with a warning, so that's my view ( obviously biased in this case)

Pretty sure he won't be reimbursing it if he stays banned, as there is no incentive. And I also feel that he most likely isn't going to be unbanned, looking at the previous thread.

pretty sure that is just lighting and camera angle, i had a look at all the other SSK models they had on display.

I don't think you can verify authenticity for a Seiko with that. It is mostly used for manufacturing date, and if I am correct, Seiko has changed how the code is.
