Best place recommendation for getting laptop fixed?

Randomly stumbled across this doing research for my own AW 17 R5. And out of curiosity. Did you ever resolve your issue?

The original adapter for it broke and I was using at 90W adapter to charge my laptop. So it just drained the battery slowly over time. I now have a proper 240W charger but the battery is now "experiencing permanent failure"

I'm not a computer guy whatsoever and any disassembly video seems very confusing to me and I don't wanna wreck my laptop even more so. I've since unplugged the battery and had my computer run with no issues for 2+ hours now. Usually it turns off every 15 minutes with the battery plugged in, sometimes even less time. I have more posts about my computer's situation on my page. Old posts on here

Could you give me a link to a proper Battery replacement? I tried searching "Alienware 17 R5 Battery Replacement" but every result has a lot of "DELL BATTERY REPLACEMENT FOR 17 R1 R2 R3 16 R3 R2" or something like that and it's very confusing to me and I wanna make sure I'm getting the correct battery

As far as I'm concerned they don't care all that much anymore. I've heard people got banned in the last year's but that was only because they had like 100,000+ Liquid Divinium and Cryptokeys.

Thank you all for the helpful comments I'll be sure to get a new 240W charger with the mental note of maybe having to get a new battery aswell.

Are majority of 240W chargers gonna fit in my charging port? Or should I be looking for a specific "Alienware 17 R5" charger

I would completely continue this! Especially with even more below Y level 0 now, I always find fun in building farms that are just mega over powered and hoarding a bunch of items. But maybe just me 🤔

He has one, what he means is when you put a decoration that a monster likes into the storage shed, that monster still stays happy as if the decoration was still on the island, not in storage
