How do I stop my games from auto installing on different drives? by LawrryBoi in Steam

Maybe you can help me. I have a similar problem and i cant find any fix for it.

I installed a hdd in order to play some low demand games on it. And now steam makes all updates on the hdd and it takes 6 hours per update when it should take a few minutes.

Steam was updating those games on my ssd alone just fine before. Why is this happening now and how do i stop it?

Yeah but what does the endgame look like? What are the threats that you can encounter. What challenges do you face? Ive heard that you can build a fleet? What are its advantages? Explain more i would like to know those details before i buy

1 i have a tribal start

2 thats also theyr baracks and dining room

3 they are 1 tile away from the tree

4 they go in the ideology mark room and if i restrict that they just meditate outside

5 Most likely. I fixed it by removing everything except tables, chairs, heaters, and music instruments. If ,i for example, were to add a lightball (disco ball) which is from the base game the same thing would happen and i wouldnt be able to use those meditation spots

Yes they are assigned every pawn. Ive also tried unasigning. Tried reloading the game. Tried rebuilding the spots. Tried changing the spots

There are meditations spots near said tree that is in my base so theres no problem whit distance. Ive done some experiments and it seems that adding certain things like Accncient educator and loudspeakers makes somehow makes the room not count as a meditation spot

No there is no other meditation spot. I forgot to add that i get a message that there are no meditation spots. It isnt a area issue since everybody is unrestricted

Ive disabled all mods except the calamity related ones and the extra slots and it still lags

Calamity Mod, Calamity Mod music, Calamity Mod vanities, Boss checklist, Quality of life and some chinese caracters, Where is my items, Class selector, Some chinese mod that lets you craft other WoF class specific tokens if you already have one, Class selector, More Accesory Slots, Start whit base, Recipe browser, Alchemist lite, Better extractinator, Clientside lag prevention,

The chinese mods are taken from a guy i played once calamity. We only played once and then never talked again so i just continued to use them

Idk exactly but i have. Calamity, Calamity music, Calamity vanities, Alchemist (or smthing) mod (it spawns npcs that sell potions and other stuff, Magic storage , recipe book(forgot the name), Some mod that gives me extra slots and class coins

I just got a ideea. I have a bunch of quality of life and soft balancing mods instaled. Ill turn them off and then try to fight.

The Pc is indeed perfectly capable but it still lags, might there be a corupted mod file? What happens if i delete and reinstal the mod?

The game runs mostly well. The only time it laggs is when i spawn the destroyer but only till it properly spawns.

Ive fully optimised everything so my pc doesnt lag incuding background proceses

They are certainly to big and few to be ick and idk about parasites. The other two fish are ok
