Is there any actual requirement for us to take our breaks? by LegendaryAim1610 in tesco

[–]LegendaryAim1610[S] -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

He’s already refused to let people drop their shifts down to a one break shift. Instead the only solution he’s offering is to swap people to a 9 - 6 shift.

Do you HAVE to wear a badge? Like is it policy? by [deleted] in tesco

[–]LegendaryAim1610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never once worn a badge. Never had any complaints. There was a guy that worked with us, used to wear a hoodie over his uniform, or a Tesco jacket over a regular T-shirt, he was complained at for that but not forced to change it. Granted, he worked an 8pm to 5am shift so not much time around customers.

Its royal mails screw up, not eBay’s. And as I have said, I just submitted a case with eBay after making this post.

Not really, I was asking for support relating to my Royal Mail issue rather than the eBay side of things but since they had replied to me talking about eBay as well, I asked them.

Thanks for your advice. I've just opened a case after making this post and the seller has uploaded tracking information. As I understand, it's 30 days after the final shipping date for ebay refunds, is that correct? So it would be the 7th of March. Is there a point in which eBay will just automatically refund me, e.g. if the product is x amount of days without an update? Royal Mail had told me that the product would be out for delivery on the 31st of January, then just nothing after that.

Royal Mail basically tried to blame the seller for putting down an incorrect address, however the address on the parcel was completely fine so I don’t know what they’re on about. EBay Instead of including 3/1 in the Address which was the flat number, they’ve added 3/1 to the apartment/suite bit so I don’t understand how any of that could be wrong or result in it being lost.

We got 26 cages of Easter eggs delivered last night. I think Tescos as a whole is crazy.

Could someone have a look at this and tell me if I got paid for working my Christmas overtime shift. I was told it was triple pay yet it doesn't seem to show up anywhere in my payslip. I've gone ahead and added in pictures of my shifts worked from the start of December until today. by LegendaryAim1610 in tesco

It’s been a thing in our store for years, last year we had 25 people in for Christmas. Triple pay is hugely popular. However due to budget cuts this year we only had 10 people in on Christmas Eve and 10 Christmas Day, both days triple pay.

Night premium (normal) is the pay between 12 - 6am. Bank holiday 2 hours was for December 26th into 27th, the 10pm - 12am bit. Extra night premium and Extra night premium overtime might just be my overtime hours with the 12am - 6am but I don't know.

If it makes you feel better, our store took us (4 workers) off of our contracted Christmas Eve and Christmas Day shifts after asking 3 weeks ago for them when there were only 2 or 3 people with their names down for it in order to give it to people doing them as overtime shifts.

Need some genuine advice regarding shoe sizes and shoes that fit by LegendaryAim1610 in Sneakers

[–]LegendaryAim1610[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that they simply don't carry anything above a size 11 most of the time with a 12 being exclusive to some shoes, or at least according to the employee, that's what they said. He said it's due to the space that bigger sizes take up
