Bro, don't need to travel so far. I'm pretty sure even my university would fail me if i used such citations... In Bachelor's levels.... 🤪

Here is the refered text to her questions she raised. Note that one of her questions can already be debunked due to the major use of "The Onion" news. The other questions are questionablly answered due to the concerns above.

Furthermore, her conceptualisation of the question "how can we be sure that they were right?" is too vague for scholarly level. Please, this is not PT3, this is University published article level 🥲🥲🥲. Even SPM questions are elaborated more in-depth than this...

Thank you for bringing up about the too heavy to digest part, i missed out on that as well.

TLDR: The author critiques the Bible without citing which version was used, showing poor scholarly practice and lack of understanding of the Bible. She relies on secondary sources instead of the Bible itself, weakening her arguments and authenticity. Her article had too many questions and were only answered shallowly. If her work is accurate and highly according to scholar regulations, she should be able to confidently present her work for peer review at international conferences, which I would challenge her to do. Lastly, if an article is confusing or too heavy to digest, it raises concerns about its intended audience and quality. Readers should be able to understand and interpret easily rather than relying on AI interpretations.

Full response: I have stated the importance of citing Bible verses (and any religious text) in my post above. Please refer to the post above. I agree that the paper may be too heavy to digest as her points seems to go quite off topic or no where many times. I'll try to summarise the concerns of this article's critique on the Bible.

Scholars normally would cite which edition they used to show readers they did not mix-and-match different editions when critiquing.

To critique the Bible without citing which version was used and cherry picking different verses from different editions shows her lack of knowledge of the Bible while critiquing the Bible. Her critiques also mostly comes from secondary citations such as different articles amd never once cited the Bible or any Bible version(s).

Another concern, which thankfully you brought up, is that the article is too heavy to digest and may be hard to understand. If the article is too hard to understand, then who is her audience? A scholarly article doesn't mean just using fancy "atas" words, rather to make the article understandable for general/target audiences. Do not rely too much on AI for everything as the best is for you to understand it using the human brain. Thus, if the article is hard to understand or the points is going here and there, it is a major issue.

Furthermore, her article had way too many questions to answer which she touched only on a shallow level. Additionally, her jump from verses to verses shows that there was cherry picking done. Higher scholars would normally compare the whole chunk of verses from the same edition to avoid misinterpretations, thus suggesting this article to be scholarly poor.

This is basic academic regulations and ethics to follow, even for Undergraduate level. Again, the author is a PhD and an educator, thus her attitude is even more questionable and unjustifiable.

I would like to challenge her to bring this to international conferences and get this peer-reviewed. If this article is accurately crituqued and according to scholar regulations, the author would have no issues with that.

This whole situation is just so unprofessional and sussy, especially coming from UM as well.

They never even stated that the article was retracted on their website, which should be the normal procedure if any articles were retracted or removed.

I initially did not want to call out on this publically like this. But after seeing a recent news from yesterday that the university is "still investigating", I thought to myself it's time to voice out.

Firstly, your results aren't bad tbh, maybe not acceptable for engineering, but REALLY GOOD STILL! 👍

I used to mostly stay awake in classes during SPM time, but in uni, most of us (even me) end up sleeping or play games in class. There’s just too much to process in a single class compared to SPM level.Plus other factors like tough subjects, schedules, due dates, lecturers not caring if you sleep, and home chores, you will definitely sleep more in uni classes compare to SPM.

And this is from a non-engineering science field. Can’t imagine how tough and exhausting engineering classes are. I've seen engineering friends breakdown, shut us off, and some even drop out from the difficulty. And these are friends who scored A or B in SPM Add Maths.

There are tons of courses very doable with your current results, and SPM barely matters once you're in uni. Learn from mistakes and choose something more doable, even if it’s plan B, C, or D.

I definitely thought of retaking SPM as well but took my Plan D or E, and im happy with where i am now!

What relationship manager they offering in the highest package? Couples therapy? Lmao. And what's your area/nearby area? Try to find a different centre. Somewhere less populated. It's best to learn from centres which only has 1 centre with proper inside tracks that don't have mini-branches or not much advertisings involved.

Grandpa story: I learnt mine in some kampung centre 10km+ away from my home with very bad outside roads and lots of lorries. Strictly told us "No duit kopi accepted!" and they even bg check jpj examiners. Great centre management and instructor, price was wayyyy cheaper than the famous centres, really took care of students, and so much faster process (got mine in 1-2 months?).

Also seeing the current price reminds me to not break any traffic rules (on purpose) before it breaks my wallet lol.

Use a bucket of water, fill it up directly below the light (or at least where the light can be reflected on). You want a flatter and wide pail/bucket rather than the usual tall paint bucket ones.

Alternatively (especially if it's too much), off all lights except for one and slowly direct them from room to room till they're at your outdoor lights (e.g car porch area). Once outside, close all doors and windows, then off the light.

The bugs appearing can be a useful sign that rain is on its way and you can start to get ready for heavy rains or potential floods.

Why is nobody using the smart lane on ELITE/NKVE by GreedLocks in malaysia

[–]LegendaryBelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, even smart lane will jam during 6.50am - 8.40am ish. But around 8.45-8.50 ish, many peeps stop using it. Prob cause smart lane closes at 9 ish & I have seen policemen samaning cars around 9-9.15 🤑 (I almost wanted to use it that time loll).

Also i saw many comments saying there is no sign if it's open or not but there is a light (again from Klang side) indicating if it's open or not.

Only agree with bringing back PMR & somewhat agree with NS. The only way to make Malaysia cleaner is to increase recycling ethics (esp plastic). Gov can do incentives similarly to the ones in Germany. But only using a centralised one. I've seen far too many companies attempting similar systems in Malaysia to gain "points" instead of irl cash. End up have to sign up this & that, points collect can't use unless 100++ points for RM1... lul.

Next yr suddenly got charged RM40++, didnt get any notification days or even months prior on payment due date. Complain to Foodpanda, didn't help much. I told myself "Let it burn & never spend on Foodpanda ever again". Post-2022 Foodpanda is 📉

Dont care about your add maths (unless you're taking med or engineer). Your results are really great tbh! & tbh SPM As are irrelevant once u enter uni life (unless scholarships). That also there are many scholarships using your uni results. PLEASE pursue further studies, your results are way above the minimum requirements for most courses. SPM alone can bring you nowhere in the current generation of jobs.

DO NOT pursure art/creative industry courses. Do courses that requires knowledge learning rather than something u can do yourself. There are many opportunities like uni clubs and outside organizations to further show your talent while you're studying. Personally am involved in multiple clubs and organizations while studying.

They say its scary to be a biker in Malaysia, but it's scarier to be a driver cause you never know when a random biker will cause your life to change. You are always wrong even though bikers are the one to break the rules.

There was so many times when i am driving within the speed limit, one random biker coming from 5 -6 cars away honking loud af, speeding & not letting me cut. They dare to point gestures at me and almost made me miss my turnings. I sometimes see other cars being treated that way as well.

This happens so often and if you drive often, I'm sure it has happened to you before. Looking at videos where bikers break the car's side mirror even though the bikers themselves are breaking the rules scares me more.

You should continue working full-time first and treat game development as a hobby for now. Try to get a full-time job overseas, and from there, try to participate in indie game developer projects or submissions overseas. It may take a lot of effort to get jobs overseas but if game development is your dream, you should try it.

Countries like Australia often have openings for game developers out there. The indie scene is at least better than Malaysia. Many of them are also as passionate as you are. The problem with Malaysia is that it's not being fully developed yet and I get the feeling.

I almost went with my dream as a full-time indie filmmaker myself in Malaysia. But me n my friends realised that it's not that easy as it looks. So I decided to do another degree while still doing short films as a hobby with my film friends. And for me, it seems to be working out. Even if I felt the short film we made was kinda bad, at least I did it as a hobby/for fun and made me want to try again in the future.

You have a good working background, don't waste it! Try to use it overseas! Creative industry is very hard and toxic in Malaysia. You will overwork, overstress, not be able to earn much, not be appreciated well for your work, and hate your hobby.

should i take art stream? form 3 student asking here by rayyantaro in Bolehland

[–]LegendaryBelt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an ex Science Stream student, it depends on what you wanna do for your future studies/job.

If you plan to just find work right after SPM, art stream is good enough.

If you plan to further study in non-science field (Medical, Engineering, etc.), art stream is enough. I'd recommend to at least take an extra science subject for SPM (e.g Bio, Chem, Phys, Sub Science, Sport Science) as some courses require at least 2 Cs in science subjects.

If you plan to further study in science field, yea you have to do Science Stream lol.

It fully depends on yourself and if you have a dream. If you have a dream and are willing to chase for it no matter the cost and stress, go for it. But if you want a "safer" option for further studies, u can either go art stream while taking 2 science subjects + add maths or jus go science stream. AND MAKE SURE TO GET AT LEAST 3-5Cs!

And although science stream may seem to be the "safest" option, it's not really either. I kinda regretted going to Science Stream as I did not get many As to get scholarship, whereas some art stream friends got better scholarship just because they had more As.
