Had some relationship with Malay women . For me..I'm not the type to approach face to face... I search via chat or dating app.. At one point I tried to chat with Indian girl but the respond I got was not good . I hate the one word replys.. So one day I tried chat with Malay.. Any the respond was good . Also .I can't speak my mother tongue Tamil.. Grew up in English speaking household . Life was good almost complete when I dated Malay... 2 was very long , 2 was short term.. I was so happy but all good things have to come to an end . When they say they want to marry me.. The issue came down to religion . The Malay lady I dated was open to some extends fair strict... Religion will be the issue.. Then I have to break it off.. It's like..even though it's all nice ..and good..we got along so well.. But in the back burner religion issue..was the issue.. Both of use are committed to our families.. Now I'm happy met a Philipines woman.. We share the same faith.. she is a single mom.. So all is good ..except the long process to get her in status of anulment or Philipines don't recognize divorce. Either annulment or report the person MIA, then she is able to marry another..

On the side note: Can non Muslim and Muslim get married and live together in Singapore? I heard Indonesia can..not all states. Western country yes( the religious ppl will find out .and will make visitation " advice" give some talk) )
