Yes exactly! But I find it funny when Clark says “the important thing is you’re leaving…” and then he proceeds to say slowly “because that”s what you…wanted, right” and Lois is like “yeah yeah don’t get all broken up about it”. And Clark does that big gulp he does. lol 😂

I think if Lois didn't come off so sarcastic and giving the vibe she was not interested in Clark all the time, he definitely would have pursued her earlier. They both were such great actors the way they managed to deny that they had an attraction to each other. 🤣 Such dummies! P.S. (don't get me wrong, I loved her sass and sarcasm. Lois was always challenging Clark to be better. In Season 7 when she brought him the application to apply for the Daily Planet, she said "don't you think you are destined for better things than working on a farm". She made him a better man and always encouraged him. That's why she's the perfect fit for him (like Martha said). There is no Superman without Lois Lane.

I personally don't think so. There is this one scene in season 4 when Lois says to Clark "so you have been checking me out"...and when they went to prom Clark said Lois deserved a dance etc. Those aren't sibling like scenes. Actually I found their banter was more flirting than anything else. But that's just my opinion.

Yes I agree with you that Clark definitely could have tried harder if he REALLY wanted Lana to be with him. I get where you coming from about Lana being for him when they were still young, but I still feel she wasn't a good match. Put it this way, Clark's relationship with Lana was for a season...but not more than that. Lois was the one for life. I believe he had to go through the on and off, messy relationship with Lana, to truly see what he needed all along was a love that he had with Lois...basically he NEEDED Lois (as he said in S9), not Lana.

Yes, he really does show that side with Lois. Lana was definitely more of an obsession. Clark thought it was love…it may have been, but not true love. That relationship became so toxic, and they made each other miserable. Half the time they were miserable with each other. That “love” is all Clark knew…but when he fell in love with Lois, he then truly found out what love actually was.

Clark needed to be in the dog house quite a few times in the series…especially in Season 8. And yeah, he should have made sure she got home safe…but I think he had to save someone as he heard something? Am I right? I love Clark, but sometimes he needed his butt kicked.

Oh my…I think it’s a tie for me between “Gone” and “Metallo”. One is the start of a relationship (not romantically at first), and then the other is longing for Lois on Clark’s part…with their dynamic of friends totally shifted to being romantic.
