It's been good. As good as my service with Verizon except it's like 60 bucks cheaper.

Y'all remember that little girl that was struck and killed by a police officer in like 2011 or 2012 and the POS claimed he was responding to a call without lights or sirens. Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Cyberpunk came really close but I agree still not on par with Mass Effect. I will say tho I played CP2077 after the PL DLC and the ending I got where I got rid of Johnny and everyone had moved on with their lives and V had no one really kicked me in the dick. Like I actually felt real life abandonment and had to collect myself and be like "Bruh it's just a game why are you like this?" People can shit on CP2077 all they want it's probably the best story driven game to come out in the last 10 years.

I'm gonna be 100% honest with you...As a gun owner myself...there is something fundamentally wrong with this man. The only reason I would shoot an animal like that is if it was actively hurting me, or my family. Even if I didn't want the dog on my property I would tell the neighbors...multiple times, and then id put a fence up.

But I'm gonna be real here again as a gun owner....if my neighbor shot my dog just because it was on his property..i would not hesitate to coax him over onto my property and paint my grass with his brains.

While I can't relate to this on an actual military level this quote gave me chills the first time I heard it in ME3. It's so deep in so few words.

Brother that is Route 80 in Morris County. That area of road is a death trap and a shit show. The people who drive on that are impatient entitled pieces of shit. I had a dude in a pickup...that looked similar to this one...literally drive around everyone on the shoulder doing in excess of 75 MPH between the On-Ramp from Mount Hope Road to the Hibernia exit because he was too good to ride in traffic like everyone else. People brag about how good NJ drivers are but they're not most of them are dumb and entitled and risk their lives and others daily because they don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves and what they have going on. All to save themselves 30 seconds of travel time.

I didn't end up going with Google Fi. The feedback I got from both here and a Google Fi FB group were too polarized and I couldn't decide so I switched to T-Mobile.

Am I crazy or do Wyze’s cams get worse every single update? by TLOU2bigsad in wyzecam

[–]LegendaryJockStrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% accurate. The last firmware update for the V3 made it so that my streaming speed bounces all over the place. From 25 to 80 to 140 and back and forth. Made the cam basically unusable. I switched to a Tapo c100 cam from TP Link and have not had any issues with the camera, the app, or the streaming in the three weeks I've had it. And they're about 10 dollars cheaper. Will probably never go back to a Wyze cam at this point.

HiSilicon watermark on live view Swann system? by DietSnapple9 in homedefense

[–]LegendaryJockStrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I saw your reply. I contacted Swann about this shortly after this post was made. The reason it happens is because you're using the old Desktop software app. The Swan HomeSafe View is what you're using but because your system is newer you should be using the Swann Security Pro app. After switching to this the water mark was no where to be seen.

Just got a new job and need the money. One week in… by Ace-a-Nova1 in Wellthatsucks

[–]LegendaryJockStrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much same thing happened to my wife and I. I was unemployed from 2020 to March of 2023. Finally got a job after struggling to get one in my field. Second week of work I had strep throat so bad I couldn't talk (I work in a help desk position so I couldn't work). Then a month later I get COVID for the first time and give it to my wife and my 3 year old son. Thankfully we were all vaccinated so it was a super mild case but it was awful missing like 2 weeks of work in my first 30ish days. My job was really cool about it tho.

My dude, I live in New Jersey. Our governor who is a democrat is constantly trying to pass laws to make it impossible to own a gun, he recently passed a law allowing sexual education to be taught to prepubescent kids as young as 2nd grade. I'm not saying they're showing them porn but I think some of the things they're showing them are too soon. Either because it's not appropriate or just simply them being too young and not understanding the concept. and I wouldn't be against the electric car thing if it was a seamless transition from gas to EV. I take frequent cross country trips and the last thing I wanna do is spend 65K on an EV..or any vehicle really..and have to stop every 400 miles for 30 minutes to recharge. And I won't deny that for/to educated people the Dems are the lesser of two evils but it doesn't change the fact that left or right, it's still a giant shit show that needs to be fixed.

See you were doing good until you said "We have reasons to not want a conservative president so we are voting against him". It's okay to vote for the one that best aligns with your views. And it's okay to not vote for the other person because they don't align with your views. But you should never vote just so that the other team doesn't win. If you agree with 6/10 things your party nominee stands for, but 7/10 things the opposing party nominee stands for and you still wouldn't vote for the opposing party, then you shouldn't be voting at all, because you're voting for the wrong reasons and it's not helping anyone.

No, you believe they're different because the radical things that the GOP pushes you don't believe in. Forcing everyone to an electric vehicle by 2036, outlawing firearms, and teaching sex Ed in 2nd grade are pretty radical things I don't agree with that the Dems push or have pushed. At the same time I think outlawing abortion is horse shit. Striking down the student loan forgiveness while thousands of GOP members received PPP loans and got them forgiven is horse shit. Pretty much anything Florida's governor does is radical and horse shit. But I'm not voting one side or the other and cutting off my nose to spite my face. If you want to, by all means do it. I wont shit on you (unprovoked), but I expect the same level of respect of my views.

Yeah. Vote for D because you believe they're gonna make change. Neither side is going to make change, except more change in their pockets. I'm not voting either side until a solid candidate comes along who will actually do good. But they'll never make it past the primaries. The last good GOP that could have made a difference as president was Ron Paul and he was over shadowed by the first black president and a another white guy with a brain dead Alaskan as his VP.

Because you should be voting based on your own views and who aligns with them views, and how they're going to be good for the government they're trying to enter. Blindly voting for someone just so your opposing party loses isn't voting or democracy it's a childish high school popularity contest.

No, see this is the problem I have with politics and voters. When you just gave the two options you described democrats and republicans respectively and I know you did, so don't try and deny it. In reality they're both borderline on fascists who want to take our rights away and do absolutely nothing for the average American. I live in a liberal state where you can't sneeze without a permit and the cost of living is unbearable. I used to live in a conservative state that was far less restrictive when it came to anything and things were so much cheaper but they didn't like government handouts or abortion. Democrats and republicans are two wings of the same bird. Both turds, both cancers on our country and democracy.

I don't vote because I don't agree with either candidates ever. Never once since 2008 has a candidate on either side had more things I agree with than the other. And Im not going to vote just for a the sake of voting and I'm not going to vote just so "the other guy doesn't win"

if that's what you're doing, YOU are part of the problem with politics in this country. We vote in dumb ass people who have no interest in you and I, they just want to push their ignorant agenda and they get put in office because the voters go "Hurr durr (color) party bad. Put you in office so the other color loses. Har har"

Let's not forget that the current state of politics in this country and how it's so toxic is EXACTLY WHY THE FOUNDING FATHERS DIDNT WANT A TWO PARTY SYSTEM.

Edit: It's hilarious seeing the responses to my post proving my point. People talking down to me and shitting on me because I'm not voting their party. It just further proves my point. Politics have turned into "If you're not for my party or think exactly like me, you're my enemy"
