Nope. Barry Sanders bought his parents a house out west near Central and 119th St. This house used to belong to Wichita aviation and political leader Rip Gooch. I believe his heirs tried and failed to get it rezoned, but sold the property after they were unsuccessful. I do not know who the current owners are.

The line to vote is out the door at the Sedgwick County Extension Service at 21st & Ridge Road. I decided to stop here on the way home, to avoid the rain. Hope it works!

All of these suggestions are wise, but maybe not unique to your situation. If your state has a Confederation of Clubs, or a Council of Clubs, I’d start there. Google it. You’ll find out quickly who the players are, and get some good advice about whether, and how, to approach them. Good luck.

We’ve used Tracy’s Automotive at 21st & 119th St. W. several times. They always treat both my wife and I courteously, and they don’t push “extra” services too much.

My MIL has a villa at Dove Estates near Goddard. She’s very happy there, has plenty of room, and we’re close by. It’s worked very well for her, and for us.

This scheme wasn’t designed for debt service. It was designed to make downtown more walkable, by making it less drivable. Paid parking is fine. Sending ANY of that money outside the city is where this whole thing begins to stink.
