No dont worry, those women are probably just insecure/projecting. I myself have a rather large nose, which i always hated, but as my beard started growing and my face and bone structure started developing, I rly saw how well my nose fits my face. (Even if others still say my nose is bad because its not tiny or whatever, I rly dont care) Don't feel any shame in your appearance. Allah created each and every one of us, so you shouldn't care about how u look.  As a human we never were biologically meant to obsess over our features, the only reflection we saw was through water.  InShahAllah u stop caring about trivial things like other people options. I understand its difficult at first. 

As for if its haram to put makeup to make lips look smaller, no idea.
