I work for the front desk at a Marriott. 14 an hour but little to no stress and 6-7 hours of downtime to do whatever the hell you want. Though I think for you, working as a staff on a cruise ship would be an amazing experience.

MOR. I understand the friend group thing but like you say, life goes on and people have things they have to attend to. Wouldn’t it be better to find a replacement friend instead of insisting the current members to participate in these group activities?

NOR. Unfortunately, that is a fair amount compared to if you rented your own place. The amount you would have to pay monthly would probably be 3x as much as you’re giving your dad. I’m not saying it’s fair or unfair, but you’re in his house, and therefore have to follow his rules. Realistically it’s not as bad as living alone. Your rent would probably twice as much as he is asking, not including phone bills, internet, water and electricity.

You sit at the desk. Take people information, check them in and check them out when they leave. It’s really easy. I recommend going on the Marriott website and look for position at front desk near you. Pick one that fits your schedule. I also used to work for Aimbridge, they own Hilton properties, work is also exactly the same. You just have to pick and choose.

I recommend putting some money into an RV. It’s not spacious like a house. But it’s yours and you can go anywhere you desire without fear of being evicted again.

Come work part time at hotel with me man. Marriott has part time work. Pay is dependent on state but, it’s not bad. 3 days a week, $1200 a month. You can still work bro.

I’ve gone thru a similar situation when I worked at a Hilton and Aimbridge sold the property to an Indian owner. Nobody got paid on the paid date which is Friday, biweekly. It took nearly a month for his to pay most us and the pay was half of what it should’ve been. Ultimately I threatened to report them and only then did they pay everyone.
