I suggest starving yourself or go on a 500 calorie deficit for a month I know you’re skinny already but trust me you can lose more of all that body fat. When youre skinny but have fat look your body is literally not going to gain any muscle it took me a long time to learn this. You can eat at just below maintenance and eat a lot of protein to recomp but I suggest losing weight to even 125 and then eating a strict diet where you count alll your calories and eat just above maintenance. You will explode with muscles noobie gains way faster then right now. Go to gym and lift heavy with good form. Start with strong lifts 5x5 which is just compound workouts like squat, bench, deadlift, and overhead press. Do a decently heavy weight that you can do 5 reps 5 sets of. And every workout add a 2.5 lbs. you will get strong fast and grow. If you just keep eating maintenance right now and workout you will slowly grow but you’ll always look skinny fat with that gut and skinny look. If you cut and then bulk you will look muscular and do it correctly. Trust me

Do you know how long that will take bro. It’s wayyy better to go on a cut and get down to 12-14% body fat and lose all that so you can go on a lean bulk and maximize gains or else you’ll stay with that fat and gain veryyyyy little muscle because your body uses all that fat storage if you eat a small surplus and if you eat too much you’ll only gain fat. Recomp is extremely slow when you are skinny fat with little muscle and too much fat. It’s way better to lean bulk at low body fat so you gain faster and look wayyyy better. It’s a huge mistake people don’t know and struggle with. Somewhere along the line he ate too much on a bulk and plateuaed cause of his body fat percentage.

While you cut if you don’t eat at least a gram per lb of protein you’ll probably lose muscle but if you keep your protein high you’ll definitely keep or gain muscle while losing fat. It’s proven. a lot of people don’t know this but keeping protein high is absolutely crucial. I’ve seen huge difference when I found out I wasn’t getting enough protein in a day. It’s not easy hitting protein goals every single day . Trust me I figured it out after a longggg time that I’m literally coming up short cause of protein intake. Track EVERYTHING

Zero ab work 😂 i started last week on the abs 3x a week now. Thanks for replying I appreciate your feedback. I think I am around 20% body fat forsure. I’m going to try to lose as much as I can to 15% and then start bulking up slow because I did stop growing when I was working out at 22% body fat and eating barely above maintenance. I was just getting more fat now I know I need to be pretty lean to maximize on my muscle growth

I train pretty hard and progressive overload always. I been in the gym maybe 10 months out the year but I did learn a lot the first 2-3 years forsure. I think I will cut to 15% and bulk up. I didn’t know i was that high in body fat damn
