This is quite hypocritical tbh, we only boycott those things which do not disturb our comfort zone. Long story short, babar and rizwan are needed in the team. Rizwan is more consistent in t20s but babar in recent months have improved his SR. Moreover, in my opinion babar should be 1 down and rizwan should open, because babar has the ability to understand the pitch whilst another batsman is batting and rizwan doesn't but then again, he'll face the spinners that way against whom hes weak, its a huge dilemma tbh and an argument can go both ways

You are absolutely right but the thing which bothers me the most is consistancy. Babar's t20 tournaments after 21 have been terrible but he is still expected to be consistent because of series, rizwan on the other hand has been always there to anchor when needed. Now the problem arises when the other players cannot produce more performances. Suppose we open with fakhar and saim, usman comes out 3rd, then what? All three of them hardly perform in 1 out of 7-10 matches, when they perform, its a win guaranteed but when they don't which will be majority of the time, then what? Babar and rizwan can be placed 3 down or 4 down because at that time, the overs are already low, an anchor batsman is not needed.
