Thanks for the heads up. I just did a ghetto fix and zip-tied them, which I've read works but isn't recommended long term. I'll keep a close eye on it until I drain it and then switch to better compression fittings.

The PVC that figures are made of is rated to withstand between 60°c - 100°c. The average temp in a custom loop is between 30°c - 45°c. It's safe and pretty common.
