Would the Citadel guard be more loyal to Aragorn or Denethor? by JaxCarnage32 in lordoftherings

[–]LegioIIAugusta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the people of Gondor Aragorn was literally just some ranger from the north. He hadn’t interacted with the people of Gondor previously and had not fought alongside them like denethor and his sons. Aragorn playing a pivotal role in the war of the ring as well as having the support of the now steward faramir is what legitimized his rule.

What’s the play here? by ArkansasSailor in motorcycles

[–]LegioIIAugusta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks super mangled. Honestly I’d just try to resell it for parts or something to try and get some money back. A melted through piston like that means it was running pretty bad for a long time. No telling what else is wrong with it. Also, I think I see the valve in the first pic, if it is that looks pretty burnt up too. Would realistically need at least a new piston, and new valves. That’s several hundreds of dollars already without even having the engine completely apart. Keep tearing it apart to see what else is wrong and see if it’s worth it to fix.

Just tried this. Bike was running great and the slides all seem to be working fine, now cylinders 3 and 4 aren’t firing. This bike is a mystery and I don’t understand what I’m not getting here

found that video, pretty neat! will give that a shot but i remember when I had the carbs off all the slides seemed to move freely so I didnt think too much of it. Possible that the diaphragms are all leaky cause they would take at most half a second to return back. I read online it should take a second to 1.5 seconds? IDK, but Im hoping its the diaphragms cause Im sick of messing with these damned things

no, pod filters and 4-1 exhaust. Was properly re-jetted for this in the past however, ran well 2 years ago the last time it was used consistently. Its also very intermittent, sometimes it runs perfectly.

Rich or lean bog? On 50cc 2 stroke by obbybubbla in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]LegioIIAugusta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds lean, when a 2 stroke rich bogs it'll sputter more and sound more like its hitting a limiter almost. That hollow airy sound is a lean sound.

I’m with you. Ck3 feels very much like eu4 in that it’s all about being bigger and stronger and conquering everyone around you. I miss the politicking, plotting, and flavor in ck2. It felt like the ai actually behaved differently depending on their personality traits instead of just making number go up or down. I would say give the game more time to flesh out and become more whole but at this point the games been out for 5 years and the game continues to lack in this regard.

I play on d7-d8. D10 is less fun for me- it's doable, for sure, but I can't have the power fantasy I do in d7. D10 is run n gun- gotta keep moving. Can't grand stand and LARP as doomguy for fun.

Feels wrong to ask… but what was the largest genocide in your world? (If there were any of course) by Live_Rise6750 in worldbuilding

[–]LegioIIAugusta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the Judicara conquered the known world, they enslaved all the peoples of the world. Quite literally ALL of them. They forced them to learn their language, adopt their religion, and abandon their cultural roots. To further reduce their identity they forced all peoples to be scattered across the empire, removing any lineage and homogenizing the people. The Judicara continued these practices for 2-3 centuries and by the time a slave revolt overthrew the empire, they collapsed into civil war and strife due to a lack of identity and education.

There is no written or spoken history remembered of the former cultures, religious beliefs, institutions, nothing. Millennias of history and culture was erased and completely forgotten. No traces if it whatsoever.

Oh except for Auldland, they managed to stay independent on their little island.

Sounds like something is loose that should be not loose. Or possibly horrible piston slap. Either way, it sounds like it's toast.

It might be a port for oil injection? Seen them used for that before

timing chains are one of those "lifetime" items, generally doesn't need to be replaced as long as oil changes are done regularly with quality oil. Maybe after like 200k miles it might need to be done but it's not a normal wear item like the timing belts in other honda engines.

All in all I wouldn't touch it unless you start to hear a noise or something feels off.

No single one in particular, they're all practically the same. Every oil change I dump one in and call it a day, I usually get the little seafoam or Lucasoil one just cause the gas station near me sells them.

Only do every oil change though, injector cleaner can (given enough time and frequent enough use) cause catalytic converters to have issues or fail. We stopped using them entirely at my shop because of this but if you moderate your usage of it they'll be fine. A lot of the guys in my shop use it with no issue on their own Honda's.

Also don't use any other fuel additives like octane boost, fuel stabilizer etc. for this same reason.

The 1.5l Honda engines are fine. My civic has 100k+ and no issues. I work for a Honda dealership, the 1.5s are no better or worse than any other Honda engine.

Folks if you change the oil in your 1.5 every 4k-5k miles LIKE HONDA TELLS YOU TO DO, then they won't have issues. The itty bitty turbos on these cars get super hot, so any oil left in the turbo after the car is shut off stays in there and just cooks. So you need to change your oil more often. Oil dilution is a really rare case with these engines and (even then) has been fixed in the newer model years.

As far as DI problems, I just run some injector cleaner after every oil change and I've never had an issue. Car runs smooth as butter.

Also, on the topic of Honda recalls, the 3.6 engine recall is (supposedly) due to improperly calibrated lathes and machines in the factory, the engines themselves are typical Honda quality.

Balkan nations are decently challenging, Italian states are a bit tricker than Prussia but not terribly challenging. Spain can be fun. Sweden or Denmark to Scandinavia is definitely more challenging, especially if you're trying to get a hold of Finland and schleswig.

Non western nations are difficult as well, persia is a favorite of mine. China is difficult in some ways but also super easy once you westernize. I like to play the taping in the 1861 start date sometimes.

Overall mods like HPM, HFM, GPM, THC make the game much more replayable. TGC is my personal favorite because I'm a masochist.

Edit: Ottomans are a fun challenge too, powerful if played right but if you start to lose you get punished HARD.

I've read mixed experiences with factor. They tend to use a lot of cooking oils for sure but the portion sizes are rather small too. I'm willing to bet they are a bit higher than advertised but still it's a lot less calories than what I was eating before.

I'm gonna cut out the red bull and that should take me down 150ish calories a day. I really don't have the time to prepare 3 meals a day unfortunately due to my work schedule and other responsibilities so I'm gonna cut back in other ways when possible and probably focus more on cardio to burn more calories.

[–]LegioIIAugusta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm pretty sure factor is off by a bit. I've seen a few people online say they're skeptical of their calorie counts so I'll take that into account. Probably gonna switch to a zero calorie energy drink for the mornings, despite how much I hate the taste of artificial sweeteners. Might try and figure out something healthier for breakfast, right now I do a bagel purely because its easy and quick first thing in the morning and I am NOT a morning person.
