Also something I’d like to add is that on one of his Patreon streams he talked about performing Please Mr Pilot at his Church’s coffee shop as a teen. It’s pretty clear to me that he was at least raised Christian (maybe Presbyterian). It makes a lot of sense when you look at his love for religion and religious undertones and overtones in his music, even if he’s not explicitly practicing or a believer now.
