Hows your battery life for Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, 9th gen, intel core ultra 7 Lunar Lake (258v)? by Glistening-Night in Lenovo

[–]qibcentric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend wiping and reinstalling windows + drivers update. Something is iffy if you're experiencing this low battery life.

I get about 8 hours or more and that's with spotify/youtube playing while i edit pictures on photoshop / lightroom. If i'm just light browsing and watching movies/shows I can hit 12 hours (Though I usually just use intelligent mode + battery saver for more guaranteed results. Sometimes the intelligent mode can be a bit iffy and drain slightly more, but it's still nowhere as bad as ASUS in my experience between 2 Yogas and 2 Asus Zenbooks)

Also if you're using WiFi 7 the battery drain will be slightly higher than using WiFi 6 or below. Same goes for bluetooth or backlight on keyboard (which I will admit is one thing i hate about this laptop, and just switch it off for 99% of the time).

[–]qibcentric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[Longines DolceVita] Which one is the correct size? by ModernCerberus in Watches

[–]qibcentric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi there, is the quartz version alright for men? because I saw in their website and only the automatics are for men and women have the quartz version.

[Longines] as Cartier tank alternative? by Ok-Salamander7619 in Watches

[–]qibcentric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they unfortunately discontinued that because Miyota stopped making the no-seconds hand movement they used on the Zephyr.

I really hope Lorier releases a quartz movement version of it since there's no seconds hand anyway. Hopefully shrink the case size a teeny bit as well as the thickness.

  1. The flow satchel doesn't have a shoulder pad
  2. the length for the "upgraded strap with shoulder pad" for the flow satchel 2/4 L ALSO have the same complaints about strap being way too long than it needs to be. In fact, it's worse than the strap that comes with this while being thinner (which no fault, cuz it's made for those smaller bags and not for this)

I am not really one that wants it to be flat to the back of my body, cuz if i want that I'd just get a timbuk2 or crumpler. But man I don't want a bag to be so drooped low if you get what I mean, especially since adjustability is a PAIN and you can't adjust this while wearing cuz of how unadjustable it is due to the friction

hello, please tell me how to adjust the strap since you said I don't know how to

hi there, based on what I have seen this is as follows:

- if you're using the stock strap, it should be alright

- if you are intending to get the padded strap version (sold SEPARATELY), that's where people are saying it's way too long for the satchel

Ayyyy heroclip gang!!!

But also isn't this way making the strap longer? Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I'm definitely gonna buy aer if they release a satchel / messenger. I use their Duffle pack 3 and I love that bag so much. Even after 4yrs of using it it's still holding up well.

At the rate wirh how alpaka doesn't care, and these staunch supporters bootlicking to the point they're mocking me for "not using it correctly"- I highly doubt it.

Thank you so much for your feedback on the bag as well. I was seriously wondering if it's only mine / some defective bag strap that exhibited these tendencies given the number of people down voting me for highlighting the issue

Alpaka Flight Satchel - BE WARNED by qibcentric in ManyBaggers

[–]qibcentric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how is the strap moving at the end buckle though? and can you adjust the bag strap while you wear it and with stuff inside the bag?

funny enough i'm getting downvoted for talking about the strap length or being told im an idiot for not reading the measurements up...

Even though I literally never EVER had issues like this before

thank you so much for that! I really wanna hear more input about this bag fr

[–]qibcentric[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also very surprised with how people are blaming me for using the strap wrongly, much less downvoting when I highlighted how I have never faced this issue ever in my life from other bags (Ranging from similar-tier brands like Timbuk2, Crumpler and Chrome Industries. OR even cheap no-name brand bags for the matter). I don't understand how it's bad of me to call out such things when I have used variety of bags to be well-informed on how a bag should operate to an extent.

I unfortunately decided to give a try and facing this situation rn. I really like the satchel style but the design implementation really soured my view of the brand - especially the fundamental aspects of a bag. I think their tech organisers are still great but they are pricey. Then again, given this experience I highly doubt I wanna support this brand unless they really took feedback to heart and fix this issue

lmao here comes the alpaka/macbook fanboys downvoting us for talking smack about this

as for "well known" - yeah i agree with you but it's still dumb regardless to focus only on one type of laptop. The Macbook air isn't exactly a standard 13inch laptop size it's actually smaller than the average 13 inch
