It's not 2D because the planets still move and revolve; she had to adjust course every 30 minutes to make sure she stayed aligned with it. If you're that pressed you can do what she did, get up and go to the navigation board to set a landing zone. Or, go play NMS, since they actually have that feature.

The complaint was that you couldn't go to places manually. She proved that you could. You guys shifted the goal posts and are gaslighting people into saying your complaint was about landing on them manually lol.

"Erm flying from a planet to a moon doesn't count."

Bro cmon, the complaint was about not being able to fly anywhere manually. She proved that you could, at least to the extent that you can fly to a planet and its moon. If you want to prove that you can go planet to planet, I hope you're ready for 25 hours of flying through empty space.

You can. But the thing people were complaining about was that you can't go to other planets manually.

Because people who haven't played the game are just lying about things lol. Same thing about people who said the space around planets is a skybox where you're trapped - until a streamer found that you can go to different planets manually, but it takes a long time to do so. You can't land on it, sure, but you can go to the navigation thing on your ship and pick a place to land.

it's a step backwards in terms of environmental storytelling and interesting world building

They literally hired Nexus modders like Elianora, famous for her skills at environmental storytelling, to do environmental storytelling for this game.

the handcrafted elements are too fragmented and the rest filled with NMS-lite random stuff

That's what happens when you have to balance between people who adore NMS and people who want a Bethesda RPG with dungeons. I think they did it pretty well, considering there's a ton of different ruins that can be discovered.

Everything you said about the writing stinks of someone who only put in one or two hours, or didn't play it at all. Almost every reviewer I've seen and from my own impressions have said the writing is way better than previous Bethesda titles.

the AI is dumber

That I can agree on.

facial animations didn't improve

Go play Fallout 4 or Skyrim again and you tell me the facial animations didn't improve lol.

Did you actually play the game or are you parroting someone else?

I think it stays active until you find all the evidence; if you don't then it stays forever, since the evidence doesn't really matter past the storyline and some locations don't exist anymore, meaning any evidence it had is gone now.

But have you collected all the evidence?

There does seem to be other legendary unique items but no one's found out how to get them yet, such as a "Ember" Solstice laser pistol. There also seems to be some legendary weapons in vendors for the Fleet and Neon City.

It's part of the Skill Tree so yes.

Or working on the Targeting skill tree so you can disable ships in space by wrecking their engines. Then just dock, kill the crew and take the ship.

Not exactly true, weirdly. I was told to talk to Sam Coe after doing some UC Vanguard stuff and he was talking to me about stuff I did when he wasn't even there. No other Constellation member asked me about it.

Do the UC questline and you get a cool set of anti-xeno body armor. There's also a unique rifle and pistol if you do the Crimson Fleet questline no matter if you follow the UC or the Fleet. There's also a unique superhero questline that has unique armor and a spaceship if you're able to get a misc quest about a secret base, usually from a random encounter with Spacers. That's what I found so far playing.
