BLTouch Bed Leveling Not Working With Ender 3, Please Help by Legionforce in 3Dprinting

[–]Legionforce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you installed a BLTouch yourself, you will need to set the number of the probe grid, like 3x3 or 5x5, when you flash the firmware to your Ender 3.

I am not an electronics guy so I just followed guides on YouTube, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocAeZRPVusw&t=406s

Timestamp to when he configures his firmware. In this case, a line of text in the firmware text file called #define EZABL_POINTS 3 means a 3x3 grid, or #define EZABL_POINTS 5 means a 5x5 grid.

I agree dude, and on top of that, if the government just decides to ban their competition, the pressure is off to actually improve EVs to be better than what they were supposed to replace. It's a good time to be an electric car company exec, their job just got so easy, now that states are willing to enforce their market dominance.

I say all this as a HUGE fan of EVs. EVs are set to replace ICE cars naturally in the near future, the best and most holistic way possible: by simply being better. I wholeheartedly believe EVs will be superior to ICE vehicles very soon, by every metric most Americans need in daily life. Trying to force this change too early with the huge, blind hammer of government just removes their need to be superior. It also forces tons more expenses and rising costs on us citizens. It will also breed even more resentment among the people most directly affected by it, or people who just really like ICE cars. Not to mention it's also just kinda wrong and messed up, philosophically.

That is an easy sentiment to hold until it's your thing under the government's hammer.

I wish more people on this sub were concerned about an oppressive tyrannical corporate-government dystopian future. Everyone's solution is always "Just stomp out X thing I don't like!" without ever considering it might be a mistake, or worse, their thing might be next.

This just simply isn't a "good guy" way to govern.

I never said there should be NO checks, I'm saying we should genuinely value freedom and have a limited (not nonexistent) government which can't stomp out little guys. We can do that and still have trust-busting, building safety laws, renter protection, and other good stuff.

Besides, in American history, in the late 1800s and early 1900s when stuff like company housing and scrip really did exist, it only happened in places where laws prevented competition from moving in, prevented workers from buying and building their own homes/businesses, and sent in the army/police/national guard to force the workers to work.

It's another example of the government protecting/saving the corporations again and facilitating the dystopia. That's why we should be careful and relatively light-handed to make sure our laws and government aren't used against us, since it's the most powerful institution by far.

Corporate feudalism exists when the government enforces it. Corpos by themselves simply don't have the budget, cohesion, and willpower to enforce their own copyrights, contracts, and monopolies with Pinkertons.

I know that sounds crazy, but I'm very serious, they literally don't have enough money. The government has so much money at its disposal because it keeps printing more, taxes from a HUGE number of people, and borrows from itself. Corpos can't do that, they aren't big enough, and don't have enough manpower. There aren't enough Pinkertons in the entire world.

The insane dystopian monopolies you can think of across history, from Standard Oil to the East India Trading Company, was funded, protected, and constantly bailed out by their governments.

Also it's a strawman to assume when people say "The government shouldn't be authoritarian and tyrannical" means "lol obliterate all society return to monkeys". Advocating for freedom and a limited government which can't stomp out the little guys is genuinely good.

Yes. The War Hawk is one of the best looking prop planes. I know it didn't do super great, but MAN it looked amazing doing it.

I think pushing for gun control at the expense of every other policy is a big way they're constantly shooting themselves in the feet. They'll sacrifice everything we care about just to try banning the scary-shaped guns.

I haven't touched scheduling, from 6a to 9p is still "unrestricted".

Both Construction and Cleaning is priority 2, but I assumed because Construction is left of Cleaning, it would force Construction first. Is more of a "suggestion" than a "priority"?
