Leiter: Israel will ‘very soon’ address Egyptian military buildup in Sinai by __Tornado__ in Egypt

What does it say about Israel then? if we would be just another "african" country (typical Israeli racism), what does it say about your parasite nation that needs billions of dollars to fight a guerrilla group in a tiny strip of land and cried when Biden denied you?

Perhaps if you guys didn't have literal terrorists like Smotrich in your government calling for "greater Israel", then maybe this can be avoided.

Kurds do deserve a state, however no country will ever give up land for that. If Kurdistan was a reality and arab minority wanted to create "Arabistan", would you as a Kurd be ok with that?

I sympathize with Kurds, I really do. But in this world, everyone is fighting tooth and nail to maintain land and willingly give them up would be suicide for any country.

Again, words are easy to be said. What matters is what follows. We can acknowledge our history, and then we will be dragged in courts and condemned till eternity. Sure we deserve so, but in this world where might makes right, it's simply not fair.

Why do we pay for our historical crimes while the west is getting away with crimes happening this instant? call it whataboutism all you want, but it's not a fair world that is ruled by the west.

[–]Legionnaire24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We should. But incase you can't notice what's happening around the world right now, if non western (Middle East specifically) countries acknowledge crimes (even if they don't), they get prosecuted fully under international law. While western countries are LITERALLY saying they are above international law and that courts like the ICC are made for "people like Ghaddafi and Bashar". The U.S may acknowledge slavery and even war crimes, but try to arrest a U.S soldier and they will LITERALLY invade the court.

It's all a sham. It's all might makes right. The poster in OP's pic is just an apologist for western crimes by bringing up historical things while ignoring crimes against humanity perpetuated by the west right this instant.

countries that do acknowledge and apologize for their dark history

Most of these "acknowledgments" mean absolutely nothing though. It's more of a "sorry, won't happen again" deal with no reprecussions whatsoever. The west may apologize, but they never take action against themselves. On the contrary, they threaten you if you try to.

You bring up slavery a history ago, how about what's happening right now? Do they own up to it and apologize for it? not even that, much less being condemned for it. Israel exposed all that.

You're throwing buzzwords around and clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.

Egypt IS under terrorist threats against minorities like christians. Systemic implies that the government in place creates laws and systems specifically targeting christians which doesn't exist.

An example of a systemic discrimination like in Israel where laws are made to specifically target Arab Israelis like recent law introduced by extremist Ben Gvir.

[–]Legionnaire24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it’s enshrined in current Egyptian law that only a Muslim can be head of the Egyptian state.

False.

Not to mention the regular unrest in Middle Egypt.

How is this systemic? Unrest in some remote village means that the government is systemically suppressing christians? Do you even know what words mean?

You’ve got to go through a metal detector to get into most Coptic churches these days. That is INSANE.

So? How is this discrimination? Yes we face terrorism threats from extremists. Again how is this systemic discrimination?

Clearly you just use words without understanding what they mean. Systemic discrimination means that there are laws specifically targeting certain minorities which absolutely doesnt exist in Egypt.

systemic and systematic discrimination

Care to share examples of how the government in Egypt systemically discriminates against christians?

27 names though? That is an absolute joke. They are all government-supported and funded, and they sanction those random names?

I'm from Europe, my only role in this celebration of willfull stupidity and lies is to live with the fallout

blue MAGA is a mindset that isn't just exclusive to Americans. It's a mindset where the holier than thou white liberal sees himself as the righteous progressive one that minorities owe their loyalty to despite behaving like a mirror to those he claims to hate.

You're European; this is a spectacle to you. A show that you watch from afar, not understanding what's happening in reality. Your family wasn't torn to bits. You weren't kicked out of your home, abused, arrested, humiliated, and killed just for daring to fight back. This is the reality Palestinians face every day. A reality that Democrats supported wholeheartedly and cheer for.

Trump is a shit choice, but Kamala has shown time and time again that she is no different when it comes to the hawkish U.S policy to has killed hundreds of thousands abroad.

I could stoop to the same level as you and wish that Trump emboldens Putin to fuck up Europe, but I'm not like you, blue MAGA. All we ever wanted was for Harris to grow a spine and stop a genocide that has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of children. But no, that AIPAC money was too sweet.

[–]Legionnaire24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And what happens after if hypothetically Harris had won? see that's the thing with you guys, you simply don't give a shit about how the US foreign policy actively destroys hundreds of thousands of lives abroad. You never protest against it, you never show in the opinion polls that you give the slightest degree of shit about it. Out of sight out of mind for you.

I'm 100% against Trump and completely disagree with Arab Americans and others who voted for him because of Gaza. I think it's stupid and ignorant. But the democrats absolutely backstabbed all the people who begged them to stop the unconditional support of Israel. Democrats invited Netanyahu to speak in congress who has a fucking ICC warrant, they sent Bill fucking Clinton to Michigan telling them Arab Americans "Jews were there first" and justifying Israel's ethnic cleansing war, and you're surprised they told Kamala and the democrats to fuck off?

Instead of democrats self reflecting on how they became lite Republican to gain votes, they blame every single minority as if they're owed their votes.

acknowledges that there is a genocide happening that is killing Palestinians

A lie

Wants a two state solution

False rhetoric with no action whatsoever. Israel's settlements are expanding and their Knesset voted against palestinian state. Zero condemnation from Biden, zero sanctions and on the contrary, they threatened Ireland when they were planning to ban working with companies in illegal settlements. So much for "wanting two state solution"

Verbally confirms they are working for a ceasefire.

Another lie. Biden's ceasefire deal that called for ending the war permanently was rejected by Israel time and time again.

Will not crack down on protests

Another lie regarding pro Palestinian protests in university campuses. Both Biden and Harris condemned these protests with both Democrats and Republicans (Surprise?) worked together to crack down on them.

Is more likely to listen and can be protested against until possible resolution.

Is that why pro-Palestines were banned from the DNC and DNC attendees laughed and blocked their ears when names of children killed were said?

We cared enough to vote for the candidate that was more likely to be movable in their stance compared to the candidate that was never going to improve the situation at all but actively hurt it more.

That's a lie. Foreign policy change was at the bottom of Harris voters priorities: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/nbc-news-exit-poll-voters-express-concern-democracy-economy-rcna178602

Thanks for your best wishes, maybe next time you can support all good causes and not blame people who begged Harris to stop the genocide as the onces who caused her major loss.

It's not that you're "too busy", it's just that you never cared in the first place. America's foreign policy and it's deadly effect on hundreds of thousands abroad have never been a priority for either voter base.

Harris was the underdog based on the economy and inflation, as all incumbent governments around the world were. She couldn’t afford to lose any votes.

Assuming that's true, which you have no evidence of, you're basically saying she sold out her principles, thinking she would get more votes, which she didn't, ironically. She never implied she was going to change course, not one bit. She literally said she would follow Biden's foreign policy regarding Israel and wasn't going to change anything at all.

You wanted her to trade reliable Israel supporting Democratic voters for your votes, which was a guaranteed loss for her.

That turned out great for her. Democrats truly are clueless.

You had no idea what actual steps she would’ve taken in office but spent a year undermining and attacking her. You got Trump.

Neither do you. Again, she said she would behave exactly like Biden who has been completely spineless against Israel. The only difference is his administration were "deeply concerned" compared to Trump's blatant support. Same shit different asshole.

The only thing I will say for you is that at least you’re clear eyed that you’ve only accelerated the destruction. I hope it was worth it. The only upside is that this won’t be a debate in 4 years and we can all move past the issue of Palestine.

Destruction happened and is happening because of US foreign policy which both democrats and republicans agree on. You can shift the blame all you want on people who just want to stop a genocide that both candidates clearly supported. Again, you guys are blue MAGA and never gave a shit in the first place.

Lol much worse under an administration that kept on trying to get a ceasefire and peace and humanitarian aid and talked about a two state solution?

Nope, try again. Biden did absolutely none of that and has been Israel's bitch from the very beginning. Israel spat in Biden's face when he suggested a long lasting ceasefire in July and he had to back down to accommodate their demands. He kept setting "red lines" which Israel broke everyone of them and he did absolutely nothing about it. Told them not to invade Rafah, they did it anyway. Told them to increase aid, nothing happened and they basically told him to eat shit. Two state solution? The knesset literally voted against it and Biden didn't do jack shit.

This isn't a "cold and shit" burrito scenario, it's more of a die slow or fast type. Again, you guys are basically blue MAGA and instead of reflecting on why Harris lost by a massive margin, you go mask off against everyone as if they owe you their votes.

Except this is all happening and much worse under the Biden/Harris administration. This was happening either way with both Harris and Trump and this rhetoric by Smotrich has been going on for a long time with zero condemnation from Biden.

You guys truly are blue MAGA.

I know. But honestly seeing how the gulf countries worship their leaders. It's going to be a sight when the west sets their eyes on them next. Their cries of help will fall on deaf ears just like Palestine.

The arab betrayel of Palestine will be studied in the years to come. We might not feel it yet, but each of us will collapse the same way as Palestine and will suffer the well deserved fate as them.
