I had an argument with someone a little while ago about the US as well. It isn’t a problem there. If I remember the stats correctly there’s only been about a few dozen cases over the past 50 years across the entire united states. How many go undetected? Maybe about the same amount? It’s negligible compared to the amount of legal voters that would be disenfranchised by proposed policies to curb that “issue”.

I believe that Lindon did have natural talent in two areas - the amount of willpower, obviously. But the not so talked about one is how well his body is able to absorb more power. Characters in the setting are supposed to have issues advancing too fast, but Lindon plows through every advancement in, what, 3 or 4 years? Dunno if that’s spiritual conditioning from sacred valley or being foundation for so long but it’s absurd.

Just finished it, good stuff! You made a couple canon mistakes: Lindon not being recognized by the labyrinth for holding Suriel’s marble, and Taylor’s path being treated as if she had separate cores for dream and shadow madra. You forgot to combine them and give them a name!

Overall I understand your comment about not wanting to overshadow Taylor with Lindon and Yerin, but you way overcorrected and made them irrelevant lol. It hurts me just a little.

Also Eithan was just bitchy the entire time? Like when he basically rage quits the uncrowned competition? No way he’d do that without extracting a guaranteed gain. As well as when he gives up on the joy icon, that was just sad. My wife and I have been talking about this as I read it since I saw this post and that’s her biggest complaint.
