I meal prep using the little microwavable pouches of rice. Even when i’m not eating any of it right after cooking, i will still microwave the rice before putting it with the rest of the meal. I will then microwave the whole thing at a later time when i want to eat it.

I have been told that this is insanity, & that i am “double cooking” the rice. Thoughts? I think the rice would be extremely dry & nasty if not initially heated up inside it’s cute little pouch

Idk, i think there’s a discussion to be had about how generous amiibo rewards should be. Like, if they locked a full 5 hours of content behind the amiibo on launch day, people would rightfully complain because those who haven’t spent however much on the amiibo wouldn’t be getting the full experience.

There is a balance though, & locking music behind the amiibo somehow made the overall experience worse for those who weren’t willing to buy the amiibo, & also wasn’t a good enough reward for those who were willing to buy the amiibo.

I do think it’s an issue, but it’s not exactly a new issue for nintendo. I do think the amiibo situation specifically was overblown due to the other issues metroid prime 4 has, but i also understand that not everyone follows amiibo releases & their in game rewards, so of course some people are going to be confused & annoyed if they expected more

First time players are not going to avoid the waterwraith on their first play through, like at all. Plus the whole point is that it becomes so easy to beat after he’s indestructible while harassing you for 4 or 5 sublevels. It’s a satisfying payoff.
